I bought this tumbler because I liked having more of a traditional glass shape rather than a straight sided Yeti clone. I also liked the smooth inner wall instead of having an indented area for a lid.The reason I deducted 4 stars is there doesn't appear to be any vacuum. I first filled it with some ice and water. The ice was melting almost as fast as it would in regular glassware and the outside wall of the tumbler was very cold.I then filled the tumble with 195 deg water. After 15 min, the water had dropped to 150 deg and the outside of the tumbler was up to 115 deg. ( I have an instant read Thermapen thermometer that is accurate and reads temps in seconds.) Obviously no vacuum or the outside wall wouldn't heat up that much.For comparison I have a "Cold-1" 16 oz pint that when filled with 10 oz of 195 deg water, only loses 30 deg after 20 min. The outside wall doesn't feel any warmer than room temp ever. The Cold-1 also keeps ice from melting for several hours instead of instantly and the outside wall stays room temp, it never even gets cool to the touch.

This is the size of a low ball glass, which means it's small, but if that's what you're looking for it's perfect. I love the double walled style. My favorite camping beverage is hot mulled wine.it's delicious, warm, and alcoholic -- yum! This cup is perfect for hot drinks. I will be taking it on all my camping trips.

I don't care for this lowball glass at all! There's an ugly chrome finish on the outside and the lip is jagged, you have be careful not to cut your lip.

My first thought after getting this was how wide it was. It almost wasn't the size of a coffee mug. It looked almost like a small dog bowl just deeped. But we gave it a try anyways and it worked just fine. It keeps the ice and drink cold. Now I won't say it's as good as a yeti because my ice did melt within an hour BUT an hour is s pretty decent time.

Does not keep hot beverages hot. Did a comparison with a regular glass coffee mug and a Starbucks insulated stainless mug. In 20 minutes this and the glass mug were within 5 degrees of each other. 130 degrees for this and 125 degrees for the glass mug. The Starbucks mug was still piping hot at 188 degrees. I didn't try any cold beverages as I got this specifically for espressos and lattes. Sending back.

I purchased 4 Lowball Mugs and love them. They are easy to grip and fit into your hand perfectly. I like that they are a bit wider than a standard cup and the fact that I can stack them in my cabinet and not have to worry about them chipping like a glass cup would do. I've used them for both hot and cold drinks, and my kids love to use for holding everything from pretzels to popcorn and ice cream. They are also super durable and easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. I sent a few to my golf buddies and they loved them too so they are great gifts if your looking for something for your husband or buddies. I'll be looking out for more products from this company.
