These are the ones to get.
These are the ones. They fit excellent, stay put, and protect you from chaffing. I forget I am wearing these unlike some other underwear. They never smell, I don’t wear them for a week without washing but you could. I sweat in them welding in overalls and cover alls in 114 degrees all day and they didn’t smell at all and dried super fast.Washing, when done with other Marino wool products, dos not seem to cause pilling or fraying. And they have not shrunk on me.The over all quality is great and this is the best pair of underwear I have ever had. Probably the only pair I’ll buy moving forward aside from their briefs which are also great but ride up your bum if you bend and perform larger movements. Get these instead.

Big guys worried about chafing, stop here.
Okay, so you're trying to search through reviews to find out if these are going to work. I did the same. Here is my story.Okay, so to begin, I am a larger guy. I am forty years old and around 250 lbs. My inner thighs rub together, and I have to wear boxer briefs to prevent chafing and rashes. Boxer briefs, on longer hikes or walks, will typically fail eventually. I end up with a rash anyways. I just have to stop for a day or two to let it go away and heal. I've used Body Glide and other things; it's just hit or miss. Now, on to my nightmare.I recently decided to take my family on a surprise Walt Disney World vacation. This vacation was in the middle of July, in the Florida summer. We're talking three full hiking days of 95-degree heat, and 90% humidity. Panic sets in. Now, I live in South Florida, so I already know what to expect, and as a larger guy, this trip terrified me. How the hell was I going to handle three full days of walking around Disney, and not end up with rashes between my legs after day one, that prevents days two and three from happening? Walking that far in this kind of heat and humidity for me is a recipe for disaster. I felt like this trip was me walking through the gates of Mordor itself.I desperately started looking for some solution that I could wear to prevent this certain doom. After all, I did not want to disappoint my 12-year-old daughter or my wife (who could hike as if it were an Olympic event).Enter the Minus33 Merino Wool boxer briefs. I decided to buy a pair, and try working out with them about a month before the trip. They worked wonderfully. I ended up buying two pairs for the trip, and washed a pair in the hotel room sink, and wore them again the last day. No problems and they washed great. These boxer briefs saved my trip. I had zero chafing, zero ride-ups, or discomfort. It rained one day, and even though I got wet, they still performed great. I now buy them for my working out as well.TLDR;Fat guy with constant chafing issues. Three straight days of Walt Disney World in Florida July Summer Heat. Wore these and have zero regrets. Saved my trip and my inner thigh

Excellent, but worth the investment.
I purchased a pair of these to test against my standard Adidas compression shorts for hiking. 28 miles and 26 hours later, I have a good idea of what's up with these:1) Odor? Nope. After trucking 19 miles in one day in 80+ degree weather, I didn't smell. At all. And it wasn't easy terrain, either.2) Chafing? Nope. No body glide, no problem. Didn't chafe a bit.3) Durability? Not really. Theses babies are ridiculously thin, although extremely comfortable in terms of temperature and general feel against the skin. But for $30 I would at least expect a pair of boxer briefs to feel like they could handle a lot more punishment. The sizing is also very strange. I, thankfully, guessed right and snagged a pair in XXL for my fat self (38W). But wow. Guesswork shouldn't enter the equation at all. They're good, don't get me wrong. But they lose a star for easy sizing, and they definitely lose a star for not feeling durable in the slightest.Update: I now own three pairs of these. As someone who regularly destroys underwear, these are standing up to punishment better than I had ever expected. They're still pretty expensive, but I'm now at a point where I don't mind it so much because of how awesome they are. I now wear them daily- I rotate throughout the work week, with an additional pair of First Lyte merino boxer briefs. Squatting, crawling under houses, squeezing into tiny attics and standing in parking lots for hours in the heat of the Gulf has taught me that they're worth every penny on those days where I'm literally standing or sitting in a puddle of sweat and still don't have any bad smells coming from down there. They don't ride up (like pair of cotton boxer briefs I've ever owned), the waistband never, ever digs into me, I don't chafe. Between these and a good pair of Kuhl shorts, I may be miserable due to the heat. But I'm never miserable due to my clothing choices.
