I did not know what to expect, but I am very happy with my purchase. You can feel the coolness when you touch it. My dog loves it.

I finally got to use this cooling mat for my dog and it does exactly what it says it will do. The silicone top literally stays cool no matter what. it was pretty warm out today and the ground was a little hot but it didn't matter to my dog because she never noticed and the reason why she never noticed was this cooling mat. She never wanted to get off of it and no matter how long she was laying on it, the mat did it's job and kept her nice and cool. If your dog overheats easily or is always looking for a cold spot on the floor then you need to get this mat ASAP.

It wasn’t as thick as I said it was, but it is cool to the touch. I have a German Shepherd and he’s hot all the time and for him it’s nice. He lays on it all the time, but I put it over his other dog bed. it does stay cool, and it washes up real nice

I read lots and lots and lots of reviews on pads and cooling pads and decided a cooling pad would be best with summer coming up. This only had a couple of reviews so far, but they were five star. I kept being drawn to it and really glad I purchased it! I am beyond happy with the look, the quality, the cooling, the softness… Everything!This is a very good quality pad with one side being more velvety, and the other a little more waterproof. I was going to put it out where my cat likes to sit under a tree on a straw-ish scratchy mat that she now sits on, that I call her meditation mat, but it’s too nice for that! She does tend to go under the outdoor dining table when it’s hot so that’s where I’m going to put it. I got the large size, so both cats can be on it if they want. Some of the other items in the same category, the reviews said they had almost no padding or people could not feel the cooling. This has excellent padding, the perfect amount in my opinion, and there’s no doubt that it is cooling when you touch it! A lot of cooling mats say that they need the pressure of the animals body to feel the cooling, but not this one! You can flip it to either side and you will feel the cooling by touch immediately. I will probably put the waterproof side down and the softer side up but either way it’s very nice and comfortable- my cats took to it immediately. Don’t forget to wash and dry it first. Excellent purchase!

I have a raised bed for my girl and I put this on top of it on one of the warmer days we had recently. It was really hot and she jumped right onto the bed and mat and stayed put. I think she likes it. It is 59" X 40" and washable. When the summer hits and we are out on those hot days, we will all appreciate the cooling mat for her while we sweat it out.

My Golden had a gel mat, but it had wrinkles in it, which I think would be uncomfortable. So, I saw this item and thought I would try it. Poppy seams to like it, when I first put it down, Poppy came to sniff it. Later I noticed she was laying on it, on her back spread eagle, LOL. I wish the sizes were the same as kennels, the first one I bought was too small and the one I kept is a bit long. I think all kennels run about the same size.

Does exactly what it says and really helps to keep your pet cool. Also, it washes and dried beautifully!
