Very pleased with Samy Fat Hair "0" calorie Thickening /first time purchase . I bought Samy Fat Hair "0" calorie thickening spray as a leap of faith. I had been using this other product until this brand name hair product company changed the formulation of their thickening spray to be a sticky styling product. Due to illness and medications that I take my hair has been thinning considerably. Products and suplements to regrow hair have produced limited results. All I really wanted in hair thickening product was one that would make my hair appear thicker or fuller.....And NOT include a sticky hairspray and NOT leave my hair crunchy or stiff. Well, to my surprise, this product delivered. This makes my hair look, appear and feel fuller. I apply it to freshly washed, conditioned and towel dried but still damp hair. Then I will either let my hair air dry down, in a very loose bun (which helps to add some waves to my hair) or I might add some anti-frizz/gloss product or small amount of soft styling product afterwards and blow dry a little. Ta-Dah! I'm done and I feel like i have a beautiful head of hair. I really like this product. I might even grow to love this product. By the way, this has a very slight, pleasant fragrance that once applied, you really don't smell at all. And the price for this product is such a great deal considering how it makes my hair look and how it makes me feel about my hair.

I have used this product for several year nd really liked it.I won't be using it anymore because of the price.The last time I bought it I paid $14.99 and now $64., come on now,really ridiculous.

Though listed as a thickening spray, I actually consider it a styling product. I have fine, thin blonde hair which I usually keep on the short side(a cross between Sharon stone's short do and a chicken). I hate flat hair and this is the one product that really gives my hair some body. Spray it on directly(sparingly) or put some on your hands and work thru damp hair for less control. Blow dry on low, finger combing and scrunching as you go. Anchor with some good hairspray, and your hair is set. This spray does not hold my hair without some hairspray though, it's not actually meant for that. It can build up along with the hairspray, so give your head a rest once in awhile.Much less expensive here than at salon, where I purchased my first bottle. Have been using this for several years, very happy with results, even in the Deep South humidity.

Product was advertised well and the price was reasonable. I didn’t get the results I was hoping for however. I have very thin hair; I’m thinking that’s why. With more hair, even thin, I believe this product works well.

Very unsatisfied, changed the original formula from thickening hair to to volumizing (big difference for my thin hair). Loved the original formula in the gray bottle, will not buy this product again!

I heard this product was reformulated. Very sad. Have very thin hair and loved the previous original version, very much - used to spray it on and it made my hair really stand out and look like a lot more. This new version does not fluff hair the way it used to, so it basically does nothing.

This is my first time trying this after loving the hair spray, but not the price. I have a 3 month old perm and have lots of fine hair with no body. I have used this 4 or 5 times now, and I really like it. It makes my curls bouncy, but leaves my hair super soft! My hair just fluffs up and I love it; I can wear it for multiple days also with only putting it on once. Doesn't take much either; I love this product! I am kind of clueless about hairstyling, and don't really know how to use it only on the roots, etc.; I put this through all my hair every time I use it.

This gives slight results! I have flat boring Asian hair and I put about 10 squirts of this into wet (shoulder length) hair. When I was blow drying with a round brush I felt a lot of resistance and could tell that my hair was going to be more voluminous once it was dry. The results are noticeable but it's not going to give you WOW volume. I also tried this on dry hair and it gives it a little more oomph instantly. I was also pleasantly surprised with the scent - it wasn't too strong or artificial. Kind of fruity.
