Amazing shower filter head. I did a lot of research and read a ton of reviews and decided on this one. Amazing! We live in Frisco, Texas and have some of the hardest and worst water in the country for being such a high end area of north Dallas. My hair and skin have been a mess since moving to Frisco. My hair dresser recommended getting one of these and I will say it’s been life saving for my hose and skin. My hair is soft, silky and clean feeling after washing it. My skin is calmer, less red and irritated, less breakouts (never or rarely had those until moving here), my skin is softer and cleaner and less irritated, my eyes are less irritated, etc. the shower would literally smell like chemicals and chlorine prior to using this and I live in a multi million dollar home, so the fact that he water here is that bad and damaging to skin, hair, nails and probably our laundry items is scary. This filter is amazing, works perfectly, clean, no more chlorine/chemical smells in my shower, good water pressure-still and easy to install. My husband installed it in 2 mins. My only concern is it doesn’t come in the gold or brushed gold to use in my other bathrooms. They definitely need to make that b/c the gold hardware is super popular now! Highly recommend! I’m so impressed with this Afina filtered shower head! The installation was super easy — I had it set up in minutes without any tools. The water pressure is fantastic, and the spray feels refreshing yet gentle. I recently moved out to the country and quickly realized something was wrong with the water. My hair felt like straw, and shampoo would not lather up no matter how much (quality) shampoo I used. My conditioner would not spread through my hair or get into my ends. When I washed the products out, my hair actually felt grimy. My skin was also dry and itchy. I Googled hard water issues and quickly realized I had to do something about the water. Malibu C Hard Water Shampoo and Conditioner worked from the first time I used it, but my ends still didn't take the conditioner as well as it normally would. I searched Amazon for a hard water filter shower head, and this AMAZING shower head came up. I bought it based on the reviews and tonight my husband installed it and I used it for the first time. It works SO WELL!!! My skin feels clean and not over-dried. My shampoo lathered up perfectly and I only had to use a normal amount. My conditioner spread through my hair and ends and I feel like I had my first REAL shower in 2 weeks! The install was super quick and easy. We wrapped with plumbers tape 5 times like one reviewer said to do. The water pressure is awesome! The spray area is awesome! And I really appreciate the packaging, QUALITY product (heavy, well built, sturdy - not cheap plastic) and most of all, they included the water pressure piece that some states require, but they did not have it IN the shower head. You can do that yourself if you want to or not. I'm thankful for the choice. This shower head is worth EVERY PENNY. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone. I'm so surprised at how much of a difference this made in my water. I will get one for every bathroom in my house. You will not go wrong with this purchase!! GREAT CHOICE...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS SHOWERHEAD! I purchased two, and received it same day. It's made well, 5 minutes max to install, requires a replacement filter every 90 day, the water pressure is AMAZING, and it make my skin feel softer! Have to admit I was skeptical at first seeing all of these reviews on social media but let me tell you there is truth in those ads. This thing works. I noticed an immediate improvement on my skin.They recommend to replace the internal filter every 2 months which isn’t bad. It also improved my water pressure which is an added bonus. The shower head itself is hefty and feels high quality. Comes included with a small roll of teflon tape as well, so it’s very easy to install.

We have used this shower head a few weeks now and am enjoying the water pressure. It seems to work well and has seems to have helped my daughter's eczema a little bit. That is the reason we decided to order it. There isn't any way to change the way the shower head sprays. However, it is pretty big and sprays well. It does lower the height of the shower. It was very easy to install. It comes with water proof tape and it's own tools to install.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I heard about this in a Facebook clip about living in Japan. Not a advertisement for this product or any other products. In the video one thing I caught them saying is that showerhead water filters are a big thing that Japanese females talk about. From that video I decided to research products and decided to buy this one and see if there really a big difference. Can honestly say yes. My wife and I felt a huge difference on how our skin feels after showering. She says her hair feels softer 🤷‍♂️ and surprisingly the shower head delivers a big difference in water pressure. Personally after using this brand I would definitely recommend getting a shower head that filters the water coming into your home. It's legit.....
