I was hesitant to order after reading some reviews but decided I wanted something light weight, easy to carry to the park. So I took a chance.I’ve been using this lounger 3-4 days a week for a couple months now. For the price I’m very happy. I even use it at home on the deck.As far as sturdiness, I weigh about the rated weight limit for this chair. I sit down on it gently. I don’t just drop onto it. I also make sure it’s unfolded in the proper order, which isn’t tough. One leg, second leg, feet, then head. It unfolds in 5 seconds and sits solidly. I’ve never thought it would collapse under me.The ratchet mechanism for the incline has never failed. I wouldn’t mind having more angle options, but there are about 3 angles that I like and it meets my needs.I had a friend, who is well over the rated limit, use it once for an hour or so. Sat down slowly and had no issues. No damage or creaking.The feeling of the material is firm. It’s not a plush or soft seat. But it works for a couple hours. And the padding by the head helps.Being able to lay face down and having the special arm holes is very helpful.Overall I’d DEFINITELY buy it again.——————————Update 8/17/19Have had this chair all summer. Because of a medical condition, I spend 6-10 hours in this chair each day. I do get up and take short walks, stretch, etc.I weigh 215 lbs currently and the chair has held up to daily use.As I said before, the key is to open and close it in the correct order. That’s critical. But also easy.Also, I believe it helps that I lower myself gently into it.It’s been with me to parades, the beach, a concert, friends cookouts, and more.The only wear after such heavy daily use is that the fabric has a SLIGHT sag to it. It’s not enough that my body is hitting the support structure, but it may get there at some point. It’s probably more comfortable now that it does have a little give, than when new.Frankly, with hundreds of hours of use at this point, it could break today and it’d be money well spent.

I'm expecting lots of family over Memorial Day, so I purchased two of these Ostrich Chaise Lounge Beach Chair for Adults with Face Hole. They couldn't be more perfect! They are very attractive with wonderful features. The head cushion can be removed when you want to give your back a chance to soak up the sun's rays, and your head has a place to go, just like at a spa - what a great idea! I got the navy stiped chairs, and they are very elegant. The chairs are sturdy and unfold with ease. They have carrying straps which makes them very easy to move poolside. I'm very pleased. Plus, they came very well wrapped with directions on how to properly open and unfold the chairs.

This lounge chair is exactly-as-advertised. The arm holes/face hole allow you to read/study/whatever while tanning your back and legs. It folds down super easily, and pretty small.Face hole is slightly large, but solvable with a rolled-up towel.The big issue is you MUST get on and off in the middle section between the two legs. The lounger will tip every time if you shift your weight off the middle section. If you are prone to falling/lack cat-like agility, this isn't safe. This is obvi a flaw, but for the price and purpose, I still think this is good.

I bought this chair despite the bad reviews, I’ve been looking and this one was the cheapest I could find. So far (I’ve had it a couple weeks) it’s awesome.I read the directions and fold/unfold like they say. I’m gentle when i lay down so it doesn’t rip. But it seems sturdy!The face hole is awesome, I can read my kindle and tan. It’s comfortable, light and easy to transport. I won’t leave it out in the sun when I’m not using it so the sun doesn’t damage it.But so far I’ve had luck with this chair. I’m about 140lbs and it supports me just fine!

Three positions, a head rest, an opening to rest your face in while lying on your stomach and arm holes for reading or looking at your phone. They are sturdy, easy to fold and have a strap for carrying.

We live at the beach year round so I prefer to invest in good pieces of beach furniture because they get a lot of use. I was excited to get our ostrich chairs, however after one summer of consistent use, here is my full review.Pros:I LOVE being able to flip over in my chair and not have to twist my neck around while choosing a side of my face to lie on. The hole is perfect and does make it more comfortable. I also enjoy reading with my arms through the armholes as it makes your book nice and shady and increases eye comfort.The chair is comfortable.The shoulder strap is very convenient.The chair overall is lightweight and easy to transport.Cons:One of our chairs broke after a month and was no longer useable. After reading reviews, this, apparently, is not uncommon.While the face- and armholes are convenient, the chair would be more comfortable if it were a bit higher up (I feel like my face is right in my book and it's just not as comfortable when I'm reading).The hinges do not always lock so if you sit in the chair the back pops up when you sit and then you have to readjust it, hold the back with one hand while you sit, then keep your hand on it while you lean back into the chair. It's kind of a science as to when to let go of the back and let your back fall into it the rest of the way. And it's extremely annoying when you mess that up and have to start all over.The chair gets very smelly if you don't wash it with soap after regular use. Rinsing is not enough. Must use soap. Sweat, city water and salt water create a very bad combination odor on this chair. Don't find out for yourself. Just use soap after every use.I don't know if I would purchase these again. I do like the comfort and convenience of the chair but I'm equally disappointed in their overall performance. I am seeking alternatives and am hoping for good results.

Great quality and very sturdy when sitting or laying. It is quite light and easy to carry with the attached strap!

I'm 5 foot 4 and found the bed just the wrong length if you want to use head hole. Uncomfortable on feet/ shins with bottom bar. Also its narrow as a bed which it doesn't need to be with arm holes. It's good but not perfect so for the price I was a bit disappointed

This is the perfect lounging chaise. Very sturdy and a clever design with openings for your arms and face if you lie on your stomach. Makes it much more comfortable for reading or using a tablet. The chair is fairly light weight and the strap makes it easy for carrying. Can't think of anything negative to say about this chaise. I would 100% recommend it!
