SharpCountertop Microwave Oven with Removable 12.4" Carousel Turntable, 1.4 Cubic Feet, 1100 Watt, Black Stainless Steel

This is my second Sharpe microwave. I bought this one when, after years of faithful service, my old "work horse" Sharpe microwave was finally put out to pasture. This one is quieter, slightly larger, and really nice. It looks good, does the job, and is a brand I trust. Happy with the purchase. If this one lasts as long as the last, it will probably be my last.

I love my new sharp microwave oven! I have been putting off buying another microwave because I really liked my old sharp microwave even after the digital timing element stopped working. I am so glad that I decided to buy another sharp microwave oven and hope it lasts as long as the other one did 10 yrs plus, although I don't know about the digital part yet as I haven't been using it that long. It's much quieter than the older one that I even forget it's on. The size is perfect for what we use it for, mostly heating up leftovers, making baked potatoes and so forth. I am so far very satisfied with my purchase.

I love this microwave so much. My favorite aspect is probably how quietly it runs. In addition, I love the quick cook options. Very very easy to adjust the power level. It defrosts meat without cooking it. I'm on my third microwave in four years, and I wish I'd found this one sooner! Besides working really well, it also looks great. I love the clean look of the white, and it's SO easy to keep clean. It seems really high quality, and I think it'll hold up well. I'll report back in the future.

The media could not be loaded. This is my 3rd Sharp Carousel in 30 years. My last one still worked but the door hooks would match and parts are no longer made so I had to buy new. The bottom little legs are either not even (yes I checked and tried to adjust them) or the metal base is warped. I had to put a piece of cardboard under one leg to keep it level. It would drive me nuts wobbling if I didn’t. Not worth returning over. It looks and works great.

I purchased this companies microwave fourteen years ago. It was used daily for cooking and warming the whole time. Years ago I knew it couldn’t keep going but it did. The white housing on unit turned a tan color but this thing just ran and ran all these years. Untold hours. So I bought this unit because it was the exact modernized inexpensive microwave I purchased 14 years ago. It is still inexpensive , white and simple to use as the first. Cannot beat SHARP.

If you want a microwave that is versatile, accurate, has great options and can be used for cooking purposes, this is the one. The power settings are fantastic for reheating items like a rare steak, or cooking delicate shellfish, without overcooking. I reheated a rare steak on power level three for 3 minutes and the steak was warmed through but still rare. I use the microwave to cook vegetables, and they are always perfect. I use the microwave to cook potatoes of all kinds and in different ways (baked, boiled, sauteed, reheated), and again, they are perfect. I use this microwave multiple times a day cooking and reheating all kinds of foods. I use multiple functions, and I am never disappointed. I needed to replace a very expensive Breville microwave, that quite honestly, I did not like. This microwave is less expensive, but is a much more accurate, nuanced cooking tool. I have sauteed vegetables, cooked eggs (out of the shell), and have defrosted meat without it getting hot or cooked in areas and have even boiled pasta. Again, I love this machine.

I have had two sharp microwave ovens in the last 30 years, why? Because that is how long they last! For me this brand has always been trustworthy. After scanning the directions, ( how to turn off the child lock, and set the clock) everything worked perfectly the first time and buttons and directions were easy to understand. I love this brand of microwave because of the rotating carousel, you never have to stop and rotate the contents. What I don’t like as much is that the older models were white on the inside, and seemed much brighter and visible due to the interior color. This model has a dark gray interior which makes the light appear much darker, and any messes harder to see. All in all this is a dependable brand at a great price and I would definitely buy it again.

I want to leave a zero or minus review with them! After using for 2 months , placed a pop tart on glass for 11 seconds. A noise and then a flame happened on the bottom of microwave under the glass. Smelt electrical. Contacted them with a very hard to understand person, sent pictures as they requested. They refused to do anything about it saying that they decided it was not cleaned properly and food left in it. I cleaned it out daily, and there was no food in the microwave. I will NEVER buy another Sharp product again. Not good customer service!
