This is my first powered standing desk so I don't have much of a comparison, but in every way this desk has met my expectations. First, the motors have a smooth, fast, and steady operation - not to mention making a pleasant, futuristic hum when in use. The memory settings are a must, and help the desk become a reflexive part of your workspace instead of a source of frustration. The coating on the desk seems high quality and resistant to marking. Finally, setup took MAYBE an hour and wasn't mentally intimidating at all, though you should be prepared to lift some very heavy parts.My other desk uses a hand crank for raising which is a time consuming bother. Between the quick response and memory settings, I am already standing at this desk WAY more. I highly recommend this desk if you want to start standing in earnest (also recommend getting a good, thick ergonomic mat to stand on as well).

This arrived in great shape, It was well packed internally as well. The instructions well written and assembly was easy, The thoughtful design minimizes parts/ screws to be installed and unlike others desks had many preinstalled screws by design. No wobble - the frame construction is heavier then others. The paint, a nice thicker coat - helping prevent scratches from showing. This unit has a great weight limit and height adjustment range due to the 3 stages - both are key attributes if you want to add casters and/or a heavy butcher block desk surface which can add several inches to the height and pounds in weight. Another plus is the duty cycle lenght... long enought to allow you to raise then lower then raise... for instance - one decides to stand (raise), gets a phone call needing to sit (lower), feet on desk then back to standing. Not all desks frames will cycle this way. Not associated with this company but for background this is my 7th adjustable frame assembly (for friends and family) and I think one of the best at a good price.

Desk itself is high quality and easy to use, the settings have done well and I can use the pre-set heights easily. The instructions could use improvement as I had to look up a video to understand how the sliding piece along the bottom works and I would recommend lacing the cable wires for the dial-pad before you screw in the bottom or you will have to do your cable management over the bump along the bottom.Overall good desk but much time could be saved if the instructions had a few more close up photos and informed the customer about cable wiring.

I purchased this product for my home office and was not disappointed. The construction is very sturdy and looks great (purchased the all black desk with dual motors). The instruction were well written & easy to follow and parts fit together without any issues. Other than the provided Allen wrench, the only other tool need was a Philips screwdriver. I definitely recommend this desk for anyone looking for a solid adjustable height desk.

This is a great desk and a great value. Assembly was easy, but a little tedious with a good number of screws to install. I took the allen key, cut it down a bit and used it in my electric screwdriver - it made quick work of the wood screws. The designs shows good planning and there's not many parts. But be prepared, this comes in two packages and they are heavy. I liked it so much, I'm thinking of buying a second as a craft table!
