A+A Addict, but....
I absolutely LOVE A+A products...I am addicted to their stuff and always get excited to purchase new items. I was stoked to find out they were selling changing pads, and quickly bought one when they were available. Now, it's a gorgeous, gorgeous product, and good idea, but there could be improvements.I love that it's SUPER soft, definitely the quality I expect from A+A. The size is pretty standard as far as changing pads go. I'm NOT in love with the buttons...they look pretty but feel like they might break (so thin!), or pull off, and are a bit hard to use, esp when you're wrangling a baby after changing. I'd be happier with snaps, like they use on their easy swaddles and sleep sacks. I also agree with other reviewers, that if it gets dirty, you have to throw the whole thing in the wash instead of quickly wiping and reusing. There's no way to remedy this issue though, since it's made of muslin (and that's what A+A is known for). So really, I can't complain about that because I knew that's what it was going to be - that point just escaped me in my excitement to buy it! It does make a great little pad to put my infant on when we're out and about though - at the park, or even on the floor at home...it's soft and clean and he's happy to lay on it, so I still find a lot of use out of it when I don't want to use it as a changing pad!Overall I'm happy with this product, but I would have given it 5 stars if it had snaps instead of buttons (or some other kind of closure that didn't feel like it would break off).

So soft!
I keep this in the diaper caddy next to my bed for middle of the night diaper changes (Baby is in a bassinet next to the bed). I love the softness and the size is good. So far, no leaks onto my bed during changes, but I suspect a major blowout might seep through. Haven't had any issues with the buttons, but we never use them: I just refold and tuck it away. Other reviewers mentioned that it's bulky, but it doesn't seem any larger than the pad that came with my diaper bag. It is slightly inconvenient that it must be washed when dirty instead of wiped off, but this isn't a surprise; its cotton muslin. Overall, great for our purpose, but not a practical solution for a diaper bag.

It is incredible good at preventing anything from leaking underneath it
This changing pad is very conveienant! What I did not realize when we purchased it was that it has a waterproof middle section between the two pieces of very soft muslin fabric. It is incredible good at preventing anything from leaking underneath it. It's easy to clean in that I just toss it in the machine. My only complaint about this is that we could stand to remember to not wash it with bibs as they get stuck to the soft fabric.Additionally, this is white - and baby poop is not. It is very stain resistant and even when using it in the grass I have not had problems. It seems to be sewn very well and even the buttons are sturdy.

One Big Flaw, Otherwise Love It
I am a Aden + Anais fan and have bought a lot of their products over the past five years. The changing mat is large, soft, machine washable and fits easily in my diaper bag, which are all great features. However, it has one large flaw: the button clasps break easily. And when they do , they leave very sharp edges. My first button broke before I ever even used it so I called the company and they sent me a new one right away (I love their awesome customer service). Then, the replacement had a button break within days of using it. I removed the button because the material it is made out of has sharp edges when broken. It is the absolute wrong material choice for the buttons and I honestly don't see why they didn't just use bpa free plastic ones instead. It's an easy fix and hopefully one that aden+anais will remedy soon.Would I buy it again? Not until they change the buttons. Once they do, absolutely.

Heavenly soft and has beautiful print. I really wanted to keep it but ...
I bought this to use as a pad for my daughter to lay down on when we go visit friends but after receiving it I realized that folded Aden and Anais blanket will do just the same job.I thought this pad would be more compact then folded blanket but it's about same size yet when you unfold it is not that big and I know my daughter would outgrow it soon.I still give it five stars bc it is another flawless Aden and Anais item. Heavenly soft and has beautiful print.I really wanted to keep it but I know that it would just be another one those temporary things which have no reuse once baby grows up and I have more then enough those around.I am returning it.

Ok, but not practical
I love the soft material and the beautiful simple design, but I just feel that it's not very practical to unbutton it when your baby has to b changed right now and it has to be washed so often if you use it everyday, so you would have to have a second one to have it available when the other is dirty. And you actually could just use a little blanket instead of that

Great quality pad. A&A never disappoints.
I love Aden and Anais products. A lot. So I has to have this changing pad eventhough we have a wipable one. I justified it but saying it can be washed, so it's more clean. The changing pad it pretty fluffy. More than I thought. This is good for baby to lay on, but gets a little tricky when trying to stuff it in the diaper bag. So for the thickness when folded or rolled, I gave it 4 stars.

Pretty, but little utility
Its great, however, it is made of a fairly thin muslin, and would really only be useful on a surface that is already dry, and mostly clean. also, if there were to be any sort of messy produced mid-change, i doubt that this changing pad would keep the surface beneath from needing a cleaning afterwards. Im giving it 3 stars bc it is soft, and nice looking, i just dont see much utility in it.
