I live alone and am disabled. I needed an air conditioner that didn't require window installation. Unfortunately, this unit is completely ineffective and inconvenient to use. You constantly have to fill it with water and ice packs. Complete waste of money.

Based on other reviews I thought I'd mention- THIS IS NOT AN AC FOR A HOUSE OR ROOM, IT IS A TABLETOP AC FOR A PERSON. You won't cool down a room, but if you put it on your coffee-table, night-stand, or end-table while you are close by, it will cool YOU down. Yes, if you turn the fan to a higher level the sound gets slightly louder.There are a lot of reasons to have a little tabletop AC, and I could not be happier to have this (for most of those reasons)! I've had another, and this one is better because it is taller, has a handle, it seems stronger even on the lowest setting, and the area to pour water in it is bigger and in the middle of the top instead of skinny and on the edge of the top. The vent has the ability to be tilted up and down, also a plus. There is a light, not really needed, but helps to see the amount of water, and the color can be changed.The fact that you have 3 levels of fan, and on top of that you can have the mist on or off and there are 3 levels to that, is so amazing when you are over-heating! I haven't used the timer yet so I can't say anything about that.I carry it by the handle everyday because I want it nearby, and I have not had any issue with the handle. It is light, it is nice looking, and fairly quiet, not that I care- I just needed to cool down!There is the odd drip of water that lands on the vent when the mist is on, haven't had any land on the table, haven't had a puddle, I'd say it makes sense that happens. It takes a few times to get used to the way the buttons work, you hold your finger on the button for a few seconds to turn it on or off, and quick touches to change levels, easy enough once you start using it. Seems pretty sturdy in terms of touching the buttons without having to hold it with my other hand so it wouldn't tip over. On the description it was hard to know if it would come with a cord or not- it does, although I don't remember if it came with the plug part. I've had it run for hours at a time, not with the mist going, and it has not had any issues. I could not be happier to have this!!!

Waste of Money. Did not cool the small space in my boat. Very quiet.

This is a convenient fan for a night stand or office desk. The water mist is extra cooling and having three speed settings is a plus. It is also very quiet. This must be kept very close to you while in use otherwise you will not feel the cooling effects of the fan and the timer is also useful

The idea of this fan is great, but it is such a waste of money. Don't even bother. The buttons are nearly impossible to use. I couldn't even get the timer function to work. It leaks, which I kind of anticipated given you put water in it. But it LEAKED so much that it left a lake under the fan. It made the room more humid, and didn't cool anything at all. It is absolute garbage and a waste of money. Would not recommend and will be returning.

Bought this since we needed another fan but not necessarily a standing/oscillating one. Needed to return the original one we got since it suddenly stopped working which was a bummer since we only used it for three days once we got it. The returning process was fairly easy and quick. The product is very light, comes with the appropriate cord (wall adapter not included), the cooling effect primarily comes from the water and ice you pour into the reservoir at the top and it outputs mist, fairly quiet, approximately the size of a 40oz reusable water bottle/tumbler but wider and cubic, the color changing light is nice and could use it as a nightlight of sorts, and it's pretty easy to use (plug n' play). The downside is that the product is advertised to have a plug in the back where condensation or left over water would trickle. However, the first and replacement products did not have a plug. So I have to constantly pour out any excess water that collects there before adding more water/ice. Didn't know it would collect water that fast and found out the next day, a puddle on our table that then dribbled onto the floor. The quality is decent. I say it's a nice way of cooling yourself solo if you work at a table or desk. Not really meant to cool large areas unless you buy multiple or even the bigger cooling fans available.

I bought this for my daughter’s small room, she really likes it , specially because it has light. It does keep room cool if is a small room
