Word World: Picture Day

My first grandson (5 yrs. old now) loved Word World. When I tried to find it on PBS I was very upset to find out that it wasn't being run any more. I wanted my second grandson to have the same experience with learning words. Thanks to Amazon it was easy to find the DVDs and I am happy to say that Word World is having the same WONDERFUL impact on my second grandson. They should put it back on the air.

Not my favorite but my son still likes it. It is educational and entertaining at the same time. My toddler lovers Word World and has learned to spell many words with it. Of course for your child to get the max out of this program they should have a good foundation of letter recognition and associated sounds. It is awesome!

My daughter is two years old and LOVES Word World. I love it too! It teaches her so much about words and gives a good little message for kindness and friends too. It is great and the price was worth the happiness she gets from watching this video over and over and over again!

My kids love this show and was getting sick of the same dvr'd episodes. Bought this to get a little more variety and the kids enjoy watching. My 4 year old learns a ton from watching and I can seeing him using the concepts to spell and read.

Love this show for my 2 year old son! He has learned so much from it! Would recommend it to anyone with very small children!! My son knew all the letters of the alphabet before he was 2 because of it! Thanks Word World!!

my daughter is 4months loves word world. As a teacher i use word world in my classes. One of the best!
