Sticks to metal!
Too expensive, but it did what I bought it for. I went on a cruise, and was told the walls were metal. I stuck my clip in this case, and stuck it to the wall. While I slept, I piped brown noise through the speaker on the wall above my bed. The speaker fit very well, but I can't speak to the protection that it offers as I have never put it in peril. I'm sure it would prevent scratches on the covered portion, but I didn't try a drop test.

I am so glad I bought this, So many reasons it is a great item...1#) I leave it on the refridgerator and know where to find it when I leave out of the house.2#) I found I can sit it on my car hood without damage,3#) Super easy to clean, remove & pop into the top dishwasher rack on air dry. I saw people complaining about the case muffins the sound but it is so slight that I don' t feel it is an issue. The openings let out sound really well.4#) Adheres magnetically to any metal surface5#) Very strong magnet6#) Toss in Gym bag or Purse protection from scratches7#) Great key minder in purse or gym bag & you can easily find themA Great invention, I could go on more but buy it...you won't regret the purchase! Worth every penny!

slid right over the speaker, good base for standing, great magnet feature. just needed to be available in more colors.

A gift for my golfer son
I visited my son over the holidays. When I stepped into his home office, I immediately saw that he was charging the same radio!Turns out that he was happy to have a second one because he uses it on the golf cart, but wants one for his office. I learned that the sound is excellent for this size speaker.

For me, it’s amazing.
I use my JBL for camping or if I’m working on my Jeep, or cooking in my kitchen. This case made me use my speaker even more… I can put it right on my refrigerator while I cook… slap it right on the door of my Jeep while I’m camping or working on it. It’s amazing. The one issue is the backside with the magnet does muffle the sound a bit but it’s only a little bit noticeable. I also bought a second one for a friend who has the same speaker. I love it.

Works great.
Very happy with the case and magnets work well. Now we just need a version of this case for the new JBL Clip 5!

It's okay.
I like it, it fits well. The only thing I don't like is the magnet is not very strong. When stuck to metal, it slides down.
