August 2014 my cousin introduced me to the Acnefree Severe Cleansing System that comes with 4 products. It cleared my acne up quickly and completely and it is the best acne treatment product I have ever used. Unfortunately the face wash in the kit finished around February. It was so good that I didn't really want to use anything else on my face but obviously I still had to wash it so I was using random face washes. My skin was not a fan of this and I broke out terribly (especially also because of stress and heat from my climate). Acnefree isn't sold where I live so I have to either buy it online or wait until I travel to the US. Hence the long delay.When I bought this cleanser I still had a little toner left and quite a bit of lotion. I made a huge mistake however because I was looking to replace the face wash from the Acnefree severe kit, I bought this one because it was the same brand and the ingredients were the same.BUT BE CAUTIOUS. THE SEVERE SYSTEM FACE WASH HAS 10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE AND THIS ONLY HAS 2.5% BENZOYL PEROXIDE.I should also mention aside from that one really bad breakout my acne is mild to moderate. My skin is very cooperative with every face wash, it's just that some work a lot better than others. When the severe face wash finished I wasn't consistent with washing my face, I wasn't using one face wash and I was very stressed and in a hot climate. Hence, the really bad breakout.I used this cleanser for 2 months and I use a lot and wash my face twice a day and there's still about half a bottle left. It cleared my bad breakout up but I still notice a few zits or small bumps occasionally. The bad breakout also unfortunately left so many dark spots across my cheeks especially the right one. This cleanser does nothing for dark spots and I'm mad at myself for waiting til my acne got bad before treating it as that was what left me with dark spots when I had a very even complexion before.Bottom line: If you have mild acne and just need something to keep occasional zits at bay this is good but I prefer a thorough system with a cleanser, toner and lotion and because my acne isn't too bad using products with a higher dosage of benzoyl peroxide kills the acne quicker and keeps my entire face clear for much longer even up to a month after I stop using it. So I'm going to repurchase the Acnefree Severe Kit.Mild acne : get thisMild to moderate acne : get the Acnefree Severe Kit

The only thing that changed in my skin care routine, my 10 step Korean beauty skincare routine, was my cleanser. And I replaced my cleanser with this acnefree cleanser. It gave me whiteheads along my jaw line. I don't like the consistency of the product nor the smell. I'm going back to my generic proactiv.

There was no seal and the cap was slightly open. Will not be using, unsanitary.

doesn't do much at all. just get a cream with benxoyl peroxide on it. It does cleanse the skin and leave a clean feeling so i'll give it an extra star for that. but in terms of breakouts.. absolutely no change. i've been using it for 2 months now.
