Leaks. Not worth the money..... sippy cup would have been better, lol

I don't often write reviews even when well satisfied but I have made an exception in this case because of some of the vehement objections to the leakproof claim, including videos.Because contending products (Corksicle and Summit), to their credit, candidly admit they are not leakproof, but look better for indoor use than does the Goverre, I bought three of the others to decide which should equip my "movie room" (Ultrasuede couch, carpet etc.) I had declared white wine as the "official beverage" of my movie room. However they leaked so much that they were essentially useless for the intended purpose, so with nothing to lose I then bought the Goverre (and no, Amazon, I didn't return any). Voila! It works unbelievably well, and it is beautifully made, and, I think I know what the problem may be with others.Because the generously sized double silicon baffles to prevent leaking under the rim of the lid are longer, more pliant, and doubled, than are the seals of the others, I cannot imagine how the complaining purchasers' could be defective -- its possible of course --but I also noticed this possible explanation: If you are attempting to "lock" the X-shaped ridges on the seal on top of the while the silicon baffles are wet, the entire lid will rotate in place very smoothly, and because both it and glass beneath are beautifully monochrome, you will not notice it rotating unless you look carefully. The finger indents for lifting the lid are good sign i.e. they rotate with the lid.So, following this reasonable guide, lid genuinely locked in place: I can shake the glass completely upside down or at any angle over my sink, vigorously, for 20 seconds, and not a hint of a drop appears. I think these fine folks and their product have been maligned unnecessarily. It reminds me of the current newest generation of the Nespresso coffee maker, where people also complained about leaking of the carafe conection, and as I did with this wineglass, I initially said 'forget about it' and looked elsewhere -- but through the same sort of process I came back -- and am as happy with my new leak-free Nespresso as I can possibly imagine! But I stray.I actually tried to make my video but couldn't send it, couldn't attach it, I'm not good at this, so I took a photo. It is the Goverre, three quarters filled with red sangria, being held OVER MY KEYBOARD long enough to take two or three snapshots, just to heighten the drama! (You can just make out the wine line if you look closely: it aligns with the first perforation in the cover). Job well done lady inventors of the Goverre! It is the best product in its class: a breakthrough product because it is the only one that dares to be leakproof, and an excellent industrial product in any class, with its milky white glass and identical color top lid -- and it is now the new 'official wineglass of my movie room,' choice of wine optional!Suggestions: make one a little smaller than 17 ounces (to fit my couch cupholders if the physics will allow it); make one with a cover that glows in the dark, ideal for movies (and etc.!!), and finally: a nice royal blue!

I am somewhat disappointed in this product. I purchased two; one for myself and one for a friend. Mine works great and doesn't leak but hers the mouth of the cup looks bigger and the lids easily slides on and off and if tipped over the wine leaks out and she is unable to use it. I would expect these to be more consistent in shape and function.

I bought these for the holidays as a gift and they were a hit! Everyone wanted one then, now I have a list that give as gifts.

I had two glasses and they both broke the same way. Right at the rim of the silicone all the way around. Please see my pictures. UPSET!
