Works well with KEF LSX
This inexpensive subwoofer works remarkably well with my KEF LSX powered speakers. I have the speakers on my dresser and the subwoofer slides in under the antique night stand. Outstanding integration due to the KEF software. Genuine high end sound quality. I couldn’t be more pleased.

A great smaller subwoofer that stands out in an office or bedroom.
I purchased this Aiyima subwoofer to replace a polk subwoofer who's amp stopped working. My main usage is to pair with an existing soundbar on my bedroom TV. I choose this specific subwoofer as I wanted something smaller that didn't dominate the available space. To start this subwoofer looks amazing. It stands out due to its unique shape and size, which allow it to blend into a room compared to having a giant black box. The build quality feels nice and the wood veneer looks great. It offers volume, lowpass filter (60hz-250hz), and phase adjustments. It provides a multitude of input options like speaker in/out, single LFE RCA, R&L RCA, and even a 3.5mm aux.I've currently got mine setup with the volume around 65%, the phase set to 180, and the cutover set at 50%.The volume and cutover knobs have a satisfying click at 50% to ensure you know what the default settings are. At these settings the subwoofer blends in wonderfully to the existing soundbar. It sounds great and provides ample bass to fill in the low end for TV shows, movies, and music. My bedroom is fairly large and it has no issue filling the intended space.I'd highly recommend this nice looking subwoofer to pair with bookshelf speakers or a soundbar. It'll look great in an office or bedroom and it sounds great.

A Great Value for the Price!
I’ve been using the 800X for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed. The bass is deep and powerful—really fills up the room without sounding muddy. The fiberglass cone does an amazing job giving that punchy, tight low-end that you want from a subwoofer. The trapezoidal design is not just cool looking but seems to help with airflow, which makes the bass even stronger. It feels solid and premium, definitely doesn’t feel cheap.Setup was a breeze. Got it hooked up in minutes, and with its wide input voltage range, so it works with pretty much anything. At 100W RMS, it’s more than enough to fill a medium-sized room with great bass. The brown wood grain finish gives it a stylish, warm feel. It’s classy, but not over the top—just the right balance. If you’re looking for the absolute deepest, most extreme bass, it might not hit those extremes. But for most people, it’s more than enough.Overall, for the price, this subwoofer is an absolute steal. Definitely a solid choice if you’re upgrading your sound system without breaking the bank.

Great for gaming as well as computer setups
In short, I think most people are going to like this subwoofer if placed in a small office (whether integrated with a desktop computer setup or a small stereo) as an introduction to subwoofers for small to medium rooms for gaming/home theater setups. I'm assuming most people will pair this AIYIMA 800X 8 Inch Powered Subwoofer with bookshelf speakers. For me personally, I wouldn't be happy with this subwoofer in a medium to large room setting for home theater usage (especially if you're already using towered speakers with just as large or larger woofers than the 8" subwoofer in the 800X.Judging the performance and sound quality of a subwoofer is always going to be subjective in the sense that room and associated speakers/equipment will influence how well this subwoofer serves you. For my uses, I connected this AIYIMA subwoofer with a pair of Jamo S 801PM powered speakers used along with my Mac M1 and a decent external DAC. When compared to a the Jamo S 808 Subwoofer I've been using in this setiup, I thought the AIYIMA 800X did a better job of filling the room with bass (gamers will be especially happy here). When playing music I thought there was slightly more distortion and and resonance coming from the AIYIMA subwoofer than my Jamo subwoofer. However, if I didn't have the Jamo here for comparison, I would have been just happy with the sound quality coming from this AIYIMA 800X subwoofer.Overall, I'm impressed with the amount of functionality that comes with this subwoofer which provides a number of connection options as well as setting options. For instance, I found that by adjusting the phase control I got better sound out of my setup. Overall given the smaller size of this subwoofer and the power provided it does exactly what you think an 8 inch subwoofer will do. For an introduction to subwoofers, this is a good value for the money. While a manual in English is provided, the ease of setup is going to depend on your background with audio equipment and perhaps your willingness to watch some tutorial YouTube videos on how best to setup a subwoofer based on both your equipment and your room. The wooden finish is also a nice design choice and will go well with my choice of home furnishings.
