Hello, that is a great question! The number of sticks in each bag range from 25-30. It can be more or less than those numbers depending on the size of the sticks. Be assured that if you order a 2lb bag, you will definitely receive 2lbs of fatwood

The Billy Buckskin Fatwood is certainly not fumigated. It is all natural. No chemicals added. But there are not bugs, as the strong resin smell keeps them away.

Would a flint/ferro rod fire starter work on these? Or do you need matches or a lighter?

Matches/lighters would work best as it takes a second for the resin to catch fire. If you had paper or light brush packed under it, you could use a flint/ferro rod for sure
