Thermal camera is awesome
The media could not be loaded. Really good phone, latest android version, good specs and lovely IPS screen. It's big device with huge screen. All phone functions works really well, it's snappy and doesn't gives any performance issues. Camera is not the best out there but decent enough to make memories. Well build as well, will last very long time. Best feature though is the thermo camera, this is just magic. It seriously helps to understand where the warm is escaping the house for example, where the hot pipes are going in the wall, etc etc. or for example where the dog is in pitch black garden. Great device, especially the thermo camera.

Premium look, quality & feel.
i purchased Doogee fire 6 at the same time as Doogee fire 6 power the differences between the two can be seen physically seen as well as what they both have to offer. Doogee Fire 6 offers 10,400mAh battery for long lasting physical work around building sites/ excavation and or geological mapping.Physical AppearanceI bought the black one with the red tints above and below as it compliments the phone really well giving it a premium quality look. It's really nice to look at, as the backing has an almost holographic sight to it when you angle the Doogee fire 6 the pattern can pop out or disappear. The camera part with the flash doesn't stick out too far so you'd be safe to pop your phone down on the back as it appears the camera parts are next to unscratchable.Weight/ thickness/ feelDoogee fire 6 is not as bulky as most rugged phones but not as slim as competitors on the market but it slim enough to slip anywhere. It's not too heavy nor too lite in weight. So it feels just fine, easy to handle. The feeling of the Doogee fire 6 feels very smooth and you can tell that they designed it in a way to make it feel appeasing to the holder of the phone as it does feel very premium as if you indeed got a bargain. The Dooge fire 6 does offer thermal imagingI must admit it's not the best due to the lagging but that's perhaps due to the auto focus part which needs a little work, Might be better if we're given the option to turn off auto focus when we do not need it. However that doesn't mean you cannot work with it. You can! and it does work. It also offers you extra filters to define easier access into reading the temperatures and finding the source of the heat better than just the standard variation. So it is almost impeccable if not for the auto focus trying to key in, making the app lag.All in all this phone is perfect for so much more than just your standard hike, you can use it for building purposes and check walls for heat, your animals to see if they're unwell or even humans to see if they are too unwell.5/5 overall

Built to Last
The DOOGEE Fire 6 has proven to be a solid companion for both work and outdoor use. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, primarily in construction settings, and its durability is impressive. The thermal imaging feature is more practical than I expected — I’ve used it to check for heat loss around windows and troubleshoot equipment issues. The phone feels hefty, but that’s a trade-off I’m happy to make for its rugged build and massive 10400mAh battery, which comfortably lasts me two full days of heavy use.Performance-wise, it handles multitasking smoothly. I frequently use mapping apps, take calls, and stream videos, and it hasn’t lagged once. The 50MP camera captures surprisingly clear photos in good lighting, though it struggles a bit in darker settings. The display is vibrant with a nice refresh rate, making scrolling and watching content enjoyable. What stands out most is how well it holds up against rough handling — I’ve dropped it on concrete a few times, and there’s barely a scratch.I also appreciate the dual SIM and expandable storage options, which are useful when traveling or managing work files. The Android 14 system is clean and efficient, with no unnecessary apps pre-installed. It’s not the sleekest phone, but it’s perfect for anyone needing reliability and extra functionality, especially in demanding environments.

Infrared not working
So far really like the phone, can't get the infrared to work though. Is there an app I need to get, tried a few but they don't seem to work.

Don't think about it just buy it..
Got a tradie Partner, fed up of replacing his work phone.. Get this.. Honestly, you wont be disappointed! My partner went through 5 phones within 2 years.. and thats not an exaggeration.. hes had this around 10 months and its still the same as when we bought it. Cameras a bit naff but we cant have it all..However, I don't advise this for anyone who has wrist/hand strength problems. Its as heavy as a brick :')

Avoid. Pay more get better. Thermal imaging app constantly freezing.
Camera constantly freezes when on the thermal app. Useless if videoing what your thermally viewing. Pay more on another make and get what you pay for, quality. Obviously this app, camera, processor or ram isn't up to it. Does not happen with the normal camera only on the thermal app setting. Avoid is my recommendation.
