Q: Is the fabric resistant to Clorox?

No it is not...just found that out yesterday by mistake. If you have a colored apron avoid using bleach.

Q: Buying for my Mom, who is a big women...size 24, will this fit?

I'm a size 18-20 and for me, it's a good fit. The ties on the side are pretty long. For the price, I would say try them. I don't think you can go wrong.

It adjusts because of the ties on each side.

Sorry I don't know. But you tie the sides and it covers. I am big around and covers my front and back perfectly.
