Easiest starter
Used 1 Tablespoon dehydrated starter mixed with 2 Tablespoons water & 2 Tablespoons organic Bread Flour & it made the best starter! Fed for 2 days & then I made 2 loaves of sandwich bread in my cast iron bread pans. Highly recommend!

Excellent sourdough starter
This is the best starter that I have ever used. On the second day, it was so active that I could have used it. I used the whole packet, 50 g white bread flour, 50 g rye flour, and 100 g distilled water. It was very active in less than 24 hours.

Fantastic starter.
I recently tried this powdered German sourdough starter and was extremely impressed. Using only half the package and feeding it with bread flour, and distilled water, I created a wonderfully bubbly and aromatic starter in just three days. This is truly one of the best powdered sourdough starters I've ever used.

Quality and active
Wonderful starter. It bubbled to life on the 1st feeding. Actually, I started 2 cultures. 1 is being fed with organic hard white wheat and the other with 50/50 hard white wheat and organic rye. Both are bubbling and appear very stable. Would definitely buy again.
