For us, this chair was exactly as advertised.
When I purchased this chair a month ago, I was hesitant because there were no product reviews for this item. Most of the similar style chairs had numerous negative reviews. However, we did buy the chair...and I am glad we did. There were a few minor negatives. one, Furniture of America sells a chair made in China. No big deal. Second, the chair was about ten days late being delivered. Once again, no big deal. Lastly, there is a tiny nick in the base of the Ottoman. A little dab of Old English covered it right up. The positives. One, the leatherette is a much better quality than I expected. I assembled the entire chair by myself in just over an hour. It really wasn't difficult and I am by no means 'handy'. The chair was double boxed and each piece individually wrapped inside so there was no damage. All the pieces were enclosed, however there were two different nuts for the same type of bolt. The nuts were different outer dimensions as well, so I needed my own wrench to fit the second nut. biggest positives...the chair does swivel, easily, and the recline section is done by pushing back with your body, just like a normal recliner. No twisting side bolts or pulling handles. The chair is low to the ground with good back support. I am 6'1" and I am comfortable in the chair, especially with the ottoman under my feet. The padding is good and the chair seems like it will last. The chair is an extra in our house, but it will be used. I think it was a great buy. I would include a picture, however the chair looks exactly like the one in the sales picture. One comment I took from other customers purchasing other chairs. I did go through and tighten all the preexisting bolts, just to be sure. And a few were loose.

... with ottoman for my wife and I and we love them. The set is very sharp in appearance ...
I bought 2 of these chocolate recliners with ottoman for my wife and I and we love them. The set is very sharp in appearance and comfortable. The price is pretty good on this set based on serious research especially for the chocolate colour. The comfort is pretty good especially in the backside and ottoman. The bench lacks a bit, but still comfortable. Assembly is pretty easy and packing was compact in one box. I am 6'2" and sit comfortably in this chair and spend movie watching and gameing in this chair. The reclining is not full-tilt, but enough to nap in. I use armour all towelettes to clean and condition the furniture and found it to work well. I would strongly suggest purchasing the item to anyone in the market for an attractive reclining swivel chair with plush ottoman. We love them.

Artificial leather looks like rubber, terrible finish you can see the staples ...
Very cheap materials and hard to operate, one have to put a lot of power to recline it and it's even harder to bring it back up, make a lot of noise on the plastic track when rotate. Artificial leather looks like rubber, terrible finish you can see the staples everywhere. Not worthy, I returned it.

So being really stupid I assumed it would be made in the USA ...
I did not buy this from Amazon (wish I had). It came from the very bottom menu that pops up withother vendors selling same product. As another buyer said, there are not any reviews to speak ofon this chair and ottoman. So being really stupid I assumed it would be made in the USA andnot in China. (Furniture of America) My mistake! This chair is terrible and not worth even $100.It is hard as a rock and the vinyl faux leather is more plastic looking than leather. I foolishlybought 2 of these and will probably never get my money back. If anyone is interested I will shareprivately the store I bought these from.
