The new lights are brighter so you may not need as many compared to tube lights. These were for my garage and I have a flat screen TV that was washed out by the brightness. To fix that problem I added a pull chain on/off switch to two of the lamps. For working in the garage the light is wonderful and run much cooler than tube lights and no flickering. The only problem was one the clear plastic lamp covers came in cracked on the side and I just taped it withScotch Tape. I just wanted to be done with it and get the cars back in. They also run much cooler than the tube lights, no need to replace a burned out bulb, were easy to install because they were 1/3 rd the weight of the tube lights. Because they will probably last the rest of my life (I'm 78 years young) I won't have to mess with it again.

I bought this light to replace the florescent lights in my office. It was not quite enough for a 10 x 10 room but after installing a second one the room is wonderfully lit with a nice, bright, even light. Easy install, well worth the money.

I put up 5 of these in my 2 car garage, all arrived in perfect shape. I got one single (over my workbench) and one 4pack (for over the rest of the area) . all the same color light, very pleasant light temperature, easy install. just love them. I used to need a flashlight to find anything in my garage, now I have enough light to find my flashlight! Would buy more if I needed them!

This light was ideal! First what I like most was it was the same size as the lights been replaced. Easy to install, light in weight, and especially bright! My wife really enjoys the brightness. Not hard to hang and also not a 2-hour job. You don't need an electrician unless you are totally uncomfortable connecting wires.They are a lot brighter for my garage than the old CFL tube bulbs I used to have.Happy with the purchase.

Simple to install, far brighter than the fluorescent light it replaced, and better looking also. What's not to like? And the big plus...no buzzing sound every time the light is turned on. LED for everything in our house. I highly recommend this product.

I can't comment on the performance of the light since I didn't install it. I was suspicious since the box had obviously been opened and retaped. I was not surprised that the diffuser has a crack about a foot long at one end. I suspect that this was a return that they will just keep recycling until someone takes it. I asked for a replacement and will update my experience later.

Finally had them installed. Took about 30-45 minutes to remove old lights and install new lights. Easy installation. Very bright lights. I have two in my garage and it lights up like daylight. I love being able to hit the light switch and the lights actually come on now (old ones were hit or miss or when they wanted to).
