Super easy to use, moves my 14 ft aluminum skift around about 10 mph. I have used it 15 times with a total of 35 hours, runs like a champ. I use it in salt and freshwater with no promblems.

I read a lot of reviews on this item before I purchased it, most of the comments were spot on. The manual is stupidly bad and the fact that they have not changed it after so many years does not speak well for the company. I read a lot about the "break-in" period and how long to run it at what speed. I read the manual and it did not mention break-n at all! A lot of the reviews mentioned that you would need to replace the spark plug, I used the one provided for about 3/4 break-n, with the original plug it was hard to start and sputtered, I figured this might be because of the high oil content for break-in. When I changed the plug, it started right away and ran perfectly. I have not used it yet on the boat. I will give you more when I have. For right now, I think it is very good value for the money spent but we will see.

Good little engine for the price, but leaking gas someplace. I used ethanol free gas to avoid fuel lines being damaged. I also drained fuel after the first use to be safe, but obviously not all the fuel was evacuated because two weeks later it slowed leaked out of the black housing. Now I will have to disassemble it and find out if it’s worth the trouble of repair, or just go spend the money and buy a trusted brand. I would pass on buying again if I had the chance at a due over.

I use this little out board on my pelican catch pwr 100. It works wonders for me on it. Make sure you look up videos on first start up as you need to add oil to the lower unit and the instructions aren’t the greatest.

I was very skeptical at first of this product but I use it for my 12' inflatable boat and it hauls my family and I around the lake all day and I haven't had a single issue yet. Great product at a great price thanks hangkai

Im sorry but this motor is no more powerfull than a electric motor in a 12 foot boat .if you need a gasser i sugest going with a 5 hp or bigger 3.6 only good for 8 foot boat and under
