Works great for the price.
These actually worked great for a small set of jumper cables I used to build a quick disconnect system. I would buy them again!

Mates with my Anderson Power Pole Connectors
So I have several 50amp Anderson Power Pole Connectors in use and wanted a less expensive option for some smaller less critical projects that could mate with the Anderson’s correctly. These Dent-De-Lion are terrific. The plastic outer housing feels very similar to the Anderson but the actual electrical connector is similarly shaped but much more robust on the Anderson however I don’t believe this will be an issue in actual use. I normally solder my battery cables to the inside of the connector and both the Anderson and the Dent-De-Lions solder and function flawlessly. The Dent-De-Lion firmly connects to Anderson connectors with the same solid click..

What gauge or wire size?
You would think that a company that sells WIRE connectors would list their product by the size of wire that went into their connectors. The wire industry refers to the size of wire by AWG, average wire gauge or at least give the inside dimensions of their connectors so the customer can know if their wire will fit this companies connectors. Instead they use the description of AMPS. When you by tires for you car you don't go by how much air pressure is put in them. I bought these connectors for #4 AWG wire because the only reference to wire size I could find was in the Question and Answers section that someone mentioned they would fit up to #4 wire, wrong. Wire size increases as the gauge number gets smaller. These connectors have the number 6 stamped on them, which means that would be the maximum size wire they will fit, # 4 wire would be too large as it measures .245" without insulation and the connectors inside dimension is .230". other than the size issue, yes I would buy them again if I were using #6 wire. The packaging and shipping were fair, finish good, plating nice, connector fit in housing firm and secure, ease of connector removal, acceptable, mating fit of two housings when snapped together, very good, product consistency, good, thickness of plastic may be an issue upon impact. Wish I could use these but I never use #6 wire, I'll probably just give them to one of my friends rather than waste more time to return them.

Great "Quick Connect" / "Disconnect" of most DC electrical devices
I have these in larger sizes on my trucks and trailers for trailer winches and jump starting. Never knew they were available in these smaller sizes until my purchase of two battery boxes for my inflatable pontoon boats that came with two connectors on the box. I immediately rewired my trolling motor with one of these connectors at the motor and another at the battery box. I can now connect and/or disconnect at either location with ease. No more wrenches to attach or detach. Well worth every penny.

incredible value
If you need this size battery connector you won't go wrong and ordering these at a deep discount. Looks like the plastic housings came out of the same mold as a Anderson connector that I was replacing. Its a exact match at a discounted price

Solid connectors
I've used these for connecting batteries in a home-made electric go kart. They do a fine job of that. It draws about 50A peak and about 30A average, and the connectors only get a little warmer than the 8 AWG wire.
