Zotac NVIDIA ZT-90204-10P GeForce GTX 980 AMP Edition 4GB GDDR5 DVI/HDMI/3 Display Port PCI-Express SLI Supported Video Card

I've been a long term Nvidia user and this card is a great example why. I had a GTX780ti which I got ultra cheap but I really couldnt run most modern games at a playable 4k. It was close but no cigar. This card can do GTA V at 4k at about 47 fps with FXAA and AA off and it just looks fabulous. The best thing about the card is that I plug it directly into my monitor using a Display port cable (thing has four of them) and it simply works. Crysis 4 also runs really great at 4k on this card. I chose the Zotac because it was about 30 dollars cheaper than the alternatives. The fans seem quiet and the build of the board is really nice. The metal pieces that surround the fans are a very nice quality. Though the card has three fans there doesnt seem to be any more noise than what the case fans generate. The 780ti made a hell of alot more noise and was very warm. Before I bought this card I attemped to use a R9 295x2 but the included cable did not give me 4k and all the graphics looked terrible as the card recognized my monitor as a 1080p monitor with the DVI and HDMI. I was lured to Radeon because of the price for performance but just like before I had issues with Desktop graphics and the card would not function at 60hz at 4k. I returned that card to amazon and picked this up same day delivery and I cannot be happier. I will probably tone my games down to 1440p with some AA just to play everything at 60fps or higher. The games I have tested this card on at 4k are.Crysis 4GTA VCities: SkylineAll games are at least 47fps or higher.. at 1440p I would imagine all being above and beyond 60fps at that resolution. In a few weeks I'll pick up another one of these for my quest to play 60fps at 4k for any current title.I could not be more happier with the price, performance and ease of use of this Zotac card.I have owned every generation of NVIDIA cards since the old days and we are really getting more for our money from Nvidia every year. Excellent card but it DOES NOT COME WITH ANY NVIDIA GAME BUNDLE LIKE EVERY OTHER SELLER IN EXISTENCE.

Pros:Best card out there at the moment.Easy overclocking with Firestorm. 9% increase in performance with just the click of a button. 15% if you want to push it all the way yourself.Still runs cool while overclocked.Still runs very quiet when under heavy load.Beautiful card and LEDs.Cons:Stays cool - yet the fans do not exhaust out the back like the stock 980, okay as long as you have a decent cooling setup in-rig.Very large, even for my giant Antec1200 V3 Gaming Case, had to move some drives around to fit the tail-end.It is also quite wide, pinching into both the PCIE*1 slots above and below it on my Z77 Sabertooth, would likely do the same to other mobos, will update when I get the chance to attempt to install a few different things into those slots.Limited overclocking due to Firestorm - can only give it 111% power, but is still more than enough juice honestly, just a strange limitation.Bottom line: If you have the rig to fit such a long card, and decent air circulation inside your rig, this is a great card to have. I hate how I'm limited to only 111% power, but honestly, there isn't a reason to push farther than that. I love just pressing a single button to either conserve power or overclock it by 9%(like I said can do 15% manually). If you want a 980, this is the way to go.

was hoping it would be great first one didn't work right Kept white screening , second a replacement was used with fingerprints on it, 3rd one was the worst failed almost constantly . I don't know but maybe it was something to do with their drivers & software

Like it, love it, overclockes good. I was aware of the voltage issue prior to buying this. There is a newer firmware available and I did flash mine and it fixed the voltage limit. I dont over clock very often so it dosent matter - it has a factory 1500mhz OC you can turn on at any time which is more than sufficient.Under full load it only ever gets around 63c and the fans are whisper quiet even at 100%. The was the other main reason I liked the zotac, its SILENT. I have a sound proof case with quiet fans and this added no noise, nothing like my older GTX 670's. or any ATi weed-wacker loud fan.In conclusion the issues with this card are grossly over rated. Its a beautiful card with an aluminum back plate and the entire thing has a carbon fiber look to it, silent and deadly fast (BF4 screams on this card). The lights are just perfect and all my friends get a kick of it going from green to flaming red under load.If you want a card that screams, but silent yet stays really cool this is the one. Im an old EVGA loyalist and I gotta give Zotac some credit here. Warning though its HUGE. have 13" length available for the card and its a hair taller than my EVGA's but itll fit in a standard case fine. Th length is the only thing that may bite you.

Weak GPU, runs games much slower than pretty much every other 980sHas a locked voltage and 1.2V limit, which will only able to be raised with the "OC plus" function that requires plugging in the USB cable from the card to the motherboard, which should have been implemented into the card itself in the first place not by some wiring, thus resulting in most disappointing overclocking capability of only 1500 clock under full load. If you are looking for a 980 to butter games, go with any other brands: gigabyte, asus, evga, msi etc... not with this one. For overclocking, even the more so.The only 2 good things about this card, is it looks super beast and probably is the most beautiful card out there ( to my taste ). The frame that covers the card which Zotac calls "exoskeleton" really did its job well of making this thing stand out. Lastly are the 3 fans on it. They do a good job of keeping the temp constantly low, even under 100% load, and it does so quietly.

Ich hatte vor dieser karte eine sapphire radeon 4770 hdDie sapphire hat 5 jahre lang gute dienste geleistet und war nicht kaputt zu kriegen.Der rest des PCs ist schon kaputt gegangen. Aber wie das so ist, ist nichts unendlich.Jetzt da ich DirectX11 brauche und die sapphire nur 10.1 kann hab ich mir die zotac gtx 980Amp extreme geholt. Hab jetzt 7x mehr leistung als vorher. Nicht nur dass die zotac dx12 können soll.!!Der einbau war schon eine herausvorderung da ich im antec lan boy air nur ca 1 cm platz zur Außenwand habe. Und dann musste auch noch der Kabelsalat aufgeräumt werden.eigendlich weiß ich selber noch nicht genau wie ich das Monster da rein bekommen habe.Aber ist ja geschafft.Hochfahrenkarte wurde sofort erkannt.Treiber installieren hat auch ohne probleme geklappt.Die karte is am anfang leise und wird während des zockens auch nicht laut.Firestorm(das Programm von zotac,mit der man das oc+ Modul auf der karte steuert)Funktioniert nach dem simplen Prinzip : learning by doingEs wird keine Bedienungsanleitung , sondern nur eine mehrsprachige einbauanleitung mitgeliefert.Ein DVI zu VGA adapter ist noch dabei und 2 kabel die je 2 6pin auf 1 8pin transformieren.Die Leistungsdaten muss ich hier ja nicht nennen. Die findet ihr auch wo anders.DSR finde ich verbessert das bild nicht sondern lässt es verschwommen wirken.Vsync sollte man einschalten da ich jedenfalls sonst immer einen versatz im bild habe.Bei Titanfall hab ich durchgehend 60 FPSmehr kann der bildschirm nicht.nach den 1/2 jahr hat die wärmeleitfähigkeit der WLP sehr stark nachgelassen.ich hatte bei titanfall 85C°bei der temperatur taktet die karte auf 1GHz herunteraber immernoch 60 FPShab jetzt die WLP ausgetauscht durch die Liquid ultra.werde bald eine wasserkühlung verbauen.bei dauernd über 60 grad nimmt die lebensdauer und die leistung stark ab.Wenn ihr fragen habt, dann fragt ruhig.Oder einfach nur kommentieren.Der Facecrafter

Presa sul warehouse per 300 euro, dalla descrizione doveva essere un po graffiata nela parte superiore ma mi sono ritrovato una scheda che sembrava proprio essere nuova di zecca, neanche un graffio, con la confezione un po malconcia all esterno (ottimo direi!). Impeccabile a 1080p ultra 60fps con qualunque gioco, testata su uno schermo 4k dà prestazioni piu che giocabili in 2k ultra 35-50fps a seconda del gioco, in 4k è un incognita, batman arkham knight mi è andato a 30fps fissi tutto in alto-ultra mentre the witcher 3 non ha voluto proprio saperne di avere un frame giocabile.Nel complesso un ottima scheda SE comprata al giusto prezzo, da tenere d occhio perché con l uscita della serie gtx 10 si è svalutata moltissimo pur essendo ancora una delle schede top 5 sul mercato gaming, ma oltre i 350-380euro a mio parere conviene già passare a una 1070.Ps. La scheda più che lunga è MOLTO larga, circa 4,5 cm, in uno sli le schede sarebbero letteramente incollate una all altra.

Ich habe jetzt rund 4 Monate mit dieser Karte gekämpft, bzw. zwei + ein Austauschmodel. Hauptsachliches Problem bei mir war, das die Karte selbst im normalem Standartbetrieb immer wieder zu abstürzen des Grafiktreibers (Fehlermeldung: "Der Anzeigetreiber "nvlddmkm" reagiert nicht mehr und wurde wiederhergestellt." ID: 4101) geführt hat. Bevor der Treiber abgestürzt ist, kam es immer zu sog. "Frame Drops" die eine Spannweite von 120-10fps hatten, praktisch bei allen Spielen die eine bessere 3D Grafik haben (Borderlands Pre-Sequel, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Battelfield usw.)Ich dachte mir am Anfang noch "ok, mal sehen wo das Problem liegt!"So habe ich mich dann an das Phänomen ZOTAC 980GTX Extrem Edition gemacht. Ich holte mir diverse Überwachungs- und Einstellungstools und den ZOTAC Support zur Hand. Zum ZOTAC Support muss ich sagen, er ist nett und antwortet Schell, auch mehrmals am Tag.Nach dem ich dann verschiedene Netzteile ab 750w und mehr ausprobiert habe, habe ich langsam daran gezweifelt das mein PC zu schwach sein könnte. Er ist immer hin schon rund 4 Jahre alt. Also habe ich die Karte mal bei einem Freund Ausprobiert über mehrere Wochen.AUSSTATTUNG MEIN SYSTEM:ASUS Rampage 3 Extrem X58I7 970 6 x 3,2Ghz (OC: 3,8Ghz)Corsair 12GB DDR3 2000MhzAUSTATTUNG FREUND SYSTEM:ASUS X99-AI7 5820 6 x 3,3GhzG.SKILL 16GB DDR4 3000MhzDurch das System meines Freundes konnten die Problemen nicht in den Griff bekommen werden. Die Karte lief nur einigermaßen wenn man im mitgelieferten Overclockingtool "Firestorm" von ZOTAC die Vcore Volt Set auf 1.2v stellt. Mir wurde vom ZOTAC Support versichert das diese Einstellung keine Beeinträchtigung der Garantie Leistungen hat. Mit "Firestorm" konnte man die karte auch mit Voreinstellungen etwas Übertackten, aber habe ich das gemacht, kam es noch schneller zu abstürzen.Letzten Endes habe ich die Karte dann zum zweiten mal zurück geschickt und Kaufte mir eine von einem anderen Hersteller. Die nur minimal langsamer getaktet ist, 60€ günstiger + The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt und man siehe da ich habe doch glatt noch mal 20-50fps mehr auf dem Bildschirm. Also kann es nur an der Grafikkarte von ZOTAC gelegen haben.Mein Fazit: Die Karte wurde für die Mülltonne produziert

Auslöser für den Kauf ist das Spiel "The Witcher 3" gewesen. Die GTX 280 hätte wohl ihre Schwierigkeiten mit diesem Spiel gehabt. Prinzipiell schreibe ich keine Rezensionen nach kurzer Nutzungsdauer eines Produktes. Somit ist die Zotac GTX 980 nicht mehr verfügbar. Was mich aber nicht davon abhält, an dieser Stelle dennoch eine positive Bewertung abzugeben. Hammer Produkt. Sieht schick aus und wurde auch mit einer Backplatte geliefert. Da aber die Grafikkarte bei mir mit einer Wasserkühlung betrieben wird, habe ich die Backplatte gegen eine getauscht, die ebenso am Wasserkreislauf angeschlossen ist, um noch bessere Kühlleistung zu erzielen. Was soll man sagen? Leise! Super leise.Zu 50% hat mich bereits die relativ geringe Leistungsaufnahme von 170 Watt überzeugt. Im Gegensatz zu der alten GTX 280 mit 240 Watt eine deutliche Reduzierung der maximalen Leistungsaufnahme. Bei Wasserkühlung macht es nämlich schon einen Unterschied, ob man einen zusätzlichen Radiator mit einkalkulieren muss, oder nicht. Der Trend sollte meiner Meinung nach in Zukunft in Richtung weniger Leistungsaufnahme gehen. Auch bei den CPU's.Ich hoffe sehr, Zotac behält die enorm gute Qualität bei. Dann wird die nächste Grafikkarte auf jeden Fall wieder von Zotac sein.
