Three-Way Splitter Adapter for PetSafe Wi-Fi Smart Feed Automatic Dog and Cat Feeder

I've seen some other reviewers complain that this is 3D printed...but I honestly disagree with that perspective. At this price and for this application, 3D printing is perfectly acceptable. The splitter quite evenly distributes pet food, very satisfied.

I got 3-way splitter adapter with the plate holders. The Precision 3D Prints designed it on the fly and shipped it a day or two. I had to ask my husband to mount the plates to the holder since the parts were tight to get in. However, knowing my cats, who broke even a plastic pet door, I did want it to be very durable and stable after the installation. I had to travel for a week and after I came back, I could see that the cats were beating up on the plates; the entire system was moved away from the place I left it. But the plates were supposed to be and there was no mess around. By now I have the splitter with the plate holder for about a month. It is still functioning and doing its job. I highly recommend it.

I had two cheapo automatic feeders for my two cats but when I got a third cat last year I really didn't want to buy a third feeder. When I found out someone makes a three way splitter for a great quality wifi automatic feeder, I knew it was time to finally upgrade. I am so happy for this, the fact that it allows you to use any dish is awesome. One of my cats developed chin acne from the plastic dish that attached to the old machine and it wasn't compatible with any other dishes. Before they would compete for food and edge each other out and I'd have to monitor them when I was home to give the least aggressive eater her own food separately. Now they can all eat side by side in harmony.

The idea is a good one. I was hopeful as we love our feeder. But food consistantly got caught inside the chute because the top of the splitter kept it from exiting into the bowl. We had to always shake it, use our finger to dislodge it, or remove the piece entirely. Also - bowls don't fit very well with the close proximity of the chutes, and plates didn't work because when food did come out, it shot across the plate and onto the shelf or floor.I'd try again if a redesign is done.

The product itself is very sturdy and fits my PetSafe feeder perfectly. It's pretty obviously 3D printed on close inspection, you can see a lot of threads and the surface isn't smooth, but I don't think that's a drawback. I do with that each of the tubes ended a little higher up above the ground. There is maybe an inch, maybe a little less, of clearance space between the end of the tubes and the floor. The lip of my cat bowls go up higher than that, so even though that means that the tubes help keep the bowls from being pushed around, food also tends to get stuck below and behind them. The tubes also end up taking up some space in the bowl, so the "effective eating space" in each bowl has been reduced by 25%.

The media could not be loaded. Quality 3d print. Fit right into machine. I didn't count each kibble 😄 but it seems to dispense it evenly. I will add more videos as I can to show it working with all 3 cats. It's nice that it matches the feeder too.

This adapter fits the feeder without any issues. I like that the food appears to be equally split into three servings, although I haven't measured. I have 3 cats, and this makes the feeder worth it for me. If I hadn't found this adapter, then I would not have purchased the feeder. FYI... I am using different bowls, and not the kind that come with the feeder.

We were in need of an automatic cat feeder that could feed three cats. The problem was we didn't want to buy three automatic feeders...enter the Precision 3D Prints Three-Way Splitter Adapter! It was a snap (no pun intended) to install. We've had no issues since purchase and have been using it for about 3 months now.I do recommend making sure your bowls are secure as food will go flying on the floor otherwise. I just used some rolled tape for ours just to make sure they did not move out of place.
