English Tea Shop Organic Book Style Red Advent Calendar 25 Pyramid Tea Bags

If you're a tea lover (as is my wife), and like having advent calendars (again, as does my wife), then this will be a lovely addition to a morning piece of chocolate.You've guessed it, it was for my wife.Item arrived the very next day on Prime Delivery and was well protected inside a sturdy box.Advent Tea Calendar is wrapped in a plastic layer for even more protection from scratches.Box itself has many vivid colours including the main Christmassy red, some nice writing and decor.Upon opening the box, the smell of different tea varieties is unmissable and very very pleasant!There are 25 small boxes of various colours and motives on them with a detailed explaination what the tea ingredients are on that particular box.Each box has a part of a puzzle at the back of it, so when you're done with that day, you can turn it around and eventually complete it when 25 days are over.There are 13 different flavours in the Advent Tea Calendar; 2 x 12 flavours and one being just one.I've not taken the back photo of which tea's are inside, not to spoil the moment (although you can read product description in details on the site if you like).As you can see above, 3 photos were added with one showing contents of the tiny daily box. Tea comes inside of a tea bag but these certain tea bags are not bleached as are most of the supermarket ones.I've tasted every tea so far (on day 6 at the moment) and all were lovely, with 2 flavours standing out.I'm very much a green tea drinker and prefer to make it with loose tea leaves as does my missus.I presume you've guessed it that my wife prefers to empty the contents out of a tea bag and uses stainless steel tea infuser.Tea is organic as claimed with certified logos of approval at the back of the main box.One thing about it is that small boxes on each side can be harder but not impossible to get out. All you need are delicate finger or nails; I can't get them out, whilst my missus canAll in all, a fantastic Advent calendar which has made my wife's eyes sparkle that little bit more and can be a lovely gift for either a loved one or a friend.I happily recommend this product!

For that price it was a lot of teas and tasting nice. However, there were all quite similar flavours, most of them with cinnamon and/or clover and after a while it was a little bit too much. It was quite a variety so there were some differences and overall I was happy with the purchase.

Packaging is so good, very well presented and an absolute privilege to have on the kitchen counter.The tea... I really enjoyed day 1, that was absolutely lovely and I'd have that again. The following days were not great, day 3 tasted like penicillin it was absolutely vile. It was either called something with energy or immune, I don't recall. I thought I was just being silly, had my fiance take a sip and he spat it out exclaiming it was horrible and had to be somehow faulty. Since then I haven't opened any more, put me off tea all together for a while. But I really enjoy the box, as mentioned it's so nice and well made, I just wish the teas were more 'mainstream'.

This is exactly what I was looking for this advent time. It is so cute and the tea flavours are gorgeous.Granted, it isn't a different tea every day, all but one flavour are repeated so there's only actually 13 flavours, but they're spaced out enough that you barely even notice.It's so lovely to wake up to a new cup of tea every day, it really starts my day on a good note.The box is gorgeous, and the individual tea boxes have the flavour, the ingredients, and how to brew it all printed on a different side.I would 100% recommend for somebody who is eager to try new types of tea but doesn't know what they like.

I looked forward to this every morning. There was some lovely festive and fruity flavours with only one face twister in the selection (one with a hint of garlic - best left to later in the day) the value for money comes in the form of the presentation. The box is beautiful, a lovely book style shell containing small cardboard number boxes. I think I will re use it for someone next year- because obviously I will be getting another new one for myself.

Good selection of teas but it would have been nicer if they didn't repeat (there are 2 separate bags of each flavour) gift box is pretty and the added boxes means the tea is a surprise each day. A good way to try and experiment with new tea flavours.Lost a star due to each tea bag being wrapped individually in plastic, I get they have to keep the tea fresh but surely there must be another way to do this?

Bought as an alternative to a chocolate advent calendar. Recipient really enjoyed sampling all of the different teas. More expensive than a traditional advent, but well made and thought out.

These were a present so I didn’t try them myself however the person has told me that they were all really nice and would buy this set again (and even though it was a present they would have happily told me it they were nasty). It was a nicely presented set and made for a great gift
