Not cheap but works a treat for Virgin V6 box
I used to use a Scart based sender for my previous Tivo box, for us to watch Virgin cable in the bedroom. The picture was watchable but HD looked like SD and SD was worse. It also used to suffer from interference - even at 5ghz.V6 boxes dont have Scart, so I've done without until I saw this. It's not cheap but works amazingly well for me.Set up for the transmitter and receiver boxes was 10 minutes max - don't forget you'll need 2 extra HDMI cables.I was then worried because I remembered that I'd read previously that the V6 box used radio signal for the remote instead of IR, so I panicked that the supplied IR remote extender wouldn't work and ruin the effect of watching TV upstairs.A bit of googling later and I found out the V6 box actually uses both IR and RF. Phew. The old Tivo remote that I'd kept for some reason even works with it, so I don't have to buy a second V6 remote for the bedroom.Tip: The remote extender at the transmit end needs to be attached just to the left of the Virgin Media logo on the front of the V6 box.The result is a great HD picture, no interference and sound doesn't seem to be affected either. There's a slight delay using the remote but only a fraction of a second, so you quickly get used to it.Happy to recommend this - just don't tell my wife how much it really cost!

Simple and effective but not quite HD quality
Setup is straight forward, tidy bit of kit. I've not seen latency, nor drop outs of audio or video any kind @1080p (ish)First issue I've seen is 1080i is not accepted, 1080p works. Not sure if that is my STB which is a Manhattan T2 or a limitation.Second issue like others have pointed out is full HD is not achieved, whilst I didn't see lag the quality of the picture is slightly lower than full HD.Given the ease of setup and it seems stable its a great solution, not quite sure its worth the money given other like for like systems are half the price. May give those a goUpdate: I gave one of the cheaper versions a go and the picture quality between the One for All and cheaper systems was for me the reason I stuck with the near double priced One for All. Whilst not quite HD quality the One for All is neater and the quality difference is noticeable.

Worked OK to start with, 3years later stopped
Bought just under 3 years ago, expensive . Required the signal to go through a breeze block wall and ceiling floor. about 5 metres total between the transmitter and the receiver. Very difficult to set up so that it worked well but can do it if you have knowledge of the causes high frequency signal transmission problems and lots of patience . Eventually it mostly worked.Different TV channels off a Virgin TV box appear to transmit at different strengths so some channels worked OK on others the pictures and sound kept freezing. After 18 months in this 'digital freezing' happened often on all channels leaving not very watchable TV.After 33 months the feed to the connected TV failed. as did the transmission to the remote TV. Had spent enough of my life moving the receiver aerial about to pick up ta decent picture. so scrapped it did not attempt to locate the fault.Probably not a purchase for the faint hearted or the impatient.Stuck in an Amazon Firestick which works well for a limited number of channels but bombards you with attempts to sell 'pay for TV products whenever you leave one channel to thread your way to another. Regular Wi fi signals attenuate less through breeze block walls (only40-50%).
