CHH Double 12 Numeral Mexican Train Dominoes with 2-in-1 Hub

This is a fantastic set! Buy without hesitation. I wasn't sure we'd receive the right set based on other's reviews but my set was spot on.

Excellant family game. Our family, ages 7-80 played this game for the first time and had a blast playing. I purchased this number style as I thought it would be easier for the younger and older set to read compared to the dot style. For once I got it right. Numbers are much easier to read. The case that houses the game is pretty cheesy. Vinyl & cardboard construction, snap closures which don't snap together. Currently I have two large rubber bands holding box together, eventually I will by a Tupperware container of some sort to store game in. The tile pieces are a good size, 2"Lx1"Wx1/4"D. Tile numbers are carved in and painted. Time will tell how good the paint will last, most likely better than just being painted on. The set does not include tile holders which would be more secure than standing tiles on end, yes grandma is a cheater when the oppertunity arises from falling tiles. The tile holders offered on Amazon had bad reviews and I thought a bit expensive (thank you Amazon for providing feed back, both good & bad). I will be checking local game/department stores for a better deal on some holders. The docking station is colorful, makes train noises if desired, and holds eight solid train markers. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I received this game as a gift. The sound did not work. The batteries were new and fresh. I sent it back to Amazon and reordered a replacement game. When the new game arrived, I checked it out and found the sound did not work on this one either. I removed the screws on the bottom of the game and opened it. There was a speaker and a small circuit board, but nothing to trigger the sound. I received a note from Amazon asking about my second purchase(same as this note). I responded to the note as I am now, but never heard a reply from Amazon. I do not blame Amazon for the problem since this is an imported game from China. I feel Amazon is getting ripped off by the Chinese for their failure to make a product as advertised. Since the sound just adds to the game when played, I decided to keep the second game and use it. This is a fun game and I have had several Mexican Train get togethers with friends.

The vinyl covered cardboard holder is weak for the product, not sure how it will do after multiple uses...also it needs to have a indentation for the first domino to sit in for each player and one on top for the double domino...there’s no score sheets...otherwise it is a good thing...fast shipping!

Took me two tries but this time I got the right set and so far I am very pleased. Dominoes are large enough to stand up on their own, numbers are in big, bright colors. Numbers 6 and 9 are quite different in color which is very helpful. As others have mentioned, case is rather flimsy and difficult to snap closed but I knew this beforehand and it doesn't bother me that much. There is a nice 'station' which even plays either a chicken sound or a train sound if one adds batteries.(I'm pretty sure two were included but not certain) I don't see any use to this but it might amuse some and only works when switched on so is not a bother to those who don't like it.The Mexican Train engine is bigger than the rest of the train markers which is also helpful. Haven't actually played with these yet but so far, I am very pleased and eager to do so.

I was hesitant to order due to the reviews posted but what I received was great! Nice sturdy box. Dominos feel nice, stand easily. I understand the confusion with the mix and six but given the six has an underscore I don't believe it will be a problem. I would like to have given five stars but the corners in the box are rounded and makes it difficult to stack the dominos. I think I can make a cardboard box to sit in this box hopefully that will solve this problem.
