Great product works really well keeping our dog afloat and pulling him out of the water but this is the second one we have bought because the first size was a medium and a tad too small. We have a springer spaniel who is only 10 month old so bought medium thinking that would be perfect but it was a tight fit so have just purchased the large. There is an adjustable velcro strap under the belly that can adjust so fits perfectly with plenty of room as he grows now.

Thoroughly recommended! Great, well thought out dog's swim vest that was just what we were looking for. I normally don't write reviews, but make an exception as so pleased we can take our old dog retrieving sticks from the water again.Size: large - he is a large Cocker Spaniel. The wrap goes all around his chest, perfectly using all the velcro. Probably would fit Springers too. For our small (but chunky) Cocker we got the medium vest which fits her just fine too.It's light and well shaped. He's comfortable wearing it. Does a great job in helping him stay afloat if he were to falter. The chin float helps a little to prevent his ears from filling with water and after two short tries he has already regained confidence.Has a buckle to attach lead and two sturdy hand grips to lift the dog out of the water if needed. If you get the bigger size and the wrap sits snugly all around the chest this works a treat.As a bonus it looks very good too. Our little one was jealous and we were so impressed we got her one too for if we go boating.If in doubt re sizing, get size bigger (as per most reviews).

This was a replacement product for another buoyancy aid I bought from Amazon which was HUGE on my male beagle, despite having measured his chest and matched him to the guide. This one said it would fit up to 68cm with a medium. As he is 69cm I decided to go for a medium after my LARGE experience with another manufacturer. It is well made and snug fitting for him, sits nicely along his back and the straps around the chest and neck are plenty long enough. Downside was that, although the grey side wings that go against his fur and are supposed to fasten with Velcro went around him, the Velcro tapes were positioned to far up the wings to actually reach. I dusted off my sewing machine, unpicked the tapes and moved them closer to the edge, as per the pictures. Result is that it is now tailor-made for him👌 so while it took a bit of effort, the price and quality of this product make it worth doing. Hope this helps avoid some sizing frustration if you also have a small but barrel-chested dog!🐕🤭

Lots to choose from but this one caught my eye with it having two handles and my dog being a bigger dog. Delivered quickly. Fitted my dog very well. Easy to pick her up out of the water with the two handles and onto the paddleboard without any issues. She didn’t struggle to swim whilst wearing it either. Dried quickly after use. Great for peace of mind.

Bought this for my 2 year old female springer spaniel for a long canoe trip, mainly as a safety measure as she loves to swim and chase ducks and the thought of her getting tired/in danger worried me . After reading the reviews I decided to not trust the sizing instructions recommended, but actually buy a “Large” size for my very medium-sized dog. I’m glad I did as the vest fits her well. If anything it’s a LITTLE bit big around the chest, but Lilly is small for a Springer spaniel. The vest fits her well enough, provides good support around the waste, feels very secure and definitely made swimming easier. The grab handles on the top of the design made it particularly easy to pick her up out of the water when needed. The vest is lightweight; she got used to it very quickly, and the Velcro and plastic clips seemed very secure. Have bought one for my parents’ Springer too.

The media could not be loaded. I really like this lifejacket because it is long on my dogs body, and it has an extra piece of buoyancy underneath the chin, which is helpful for keeping their heads out of the water. I also like the fact that it has two handles, which makes it very easy to retrieve the dog from the water, especially on a paddleboard or a boat. I bought a medium size for my 10 kg, petite Cocker and it has lots of room to expand around her belly and fits perfectly on her when the straps are tightened.
