Fabulous Fiber Fill!
Don't be afraid to buy this fiber fill - whatever issues the manufacturer had have been resolved. This is fluffy, pure white, with no dust, no particulate. It's not slick, packs very well, stays in place and creates a nice dense fill (if that's what you want) or a soft plush feel. The price was GREAT at under $12.00 for a 5 lb box (which is a LOT of fill for most of us). Since this is a petroleum based product, the price can be variable so grab it while it's a great deal. Really the best fiber fill or stuffed toys out there.

They fixed the formula - white and non-greasy now
I was worried about getting this because of all the reviews saying that it was grey and grimy, but as others have said, it has been fixed. Filled my pillow perfectly. This was my first time getting fiberfill. I was rather amazed at how much volume there is for 5 pounds! The box is bigger than my sewing machine. I don't think I was ready for that. Doesn't bug me or anything, but when I picked up the package from the front desk I had absolutely no idea what it was at first - what could be in such a big box??There are some little plasticy bits in it that have to be picked out - little hard half inch or so stringy pieces. Like I said, first time with fiberfill, so it may be normal. Didn't really bother me, but I don't know if it might bother other people. Overall soft and awesome.

Great product, gross feeling from the seller.
Alright, this fill is GREAT for pillows and other things. It's beautiful, well made, and it goes a long way.I bought this from an Amazon vendor named dailydealscatcher through Amazon dot com, and I was disgusted to see the box arrive on my doorstep. The box was a direct ship from walmart dot com. If I wanted to support walmart, I would have bought it from them myself.

Morning Glory Polyester Fiberfill 10-31-11 Update - Should be OK now.
My wife discovered Morning Glory polyester fiberfill about a year ago and has found it perfect for stuffing dolls she makes for the grandkids. Recently she ran low and went back to WalMart to buy more in the 5-lb. box, only to find they no longer sell it. She researched on the internet and found references that the manufacturer has been working with Walmart to carry it again, but that seems to have been going on for more than a year and so far no success. On searching the internet, the best price I can find is from Amazon.com at $16.99 per 5-lb. box. That's much higher than the $8. per box I see quoted for Walmart here and there on the internet, but that price is a couple years old. We are all painfully aware of what oil prices have done in the last year or two, so the higher price is probably justified. I was on the internet this morning placing an order with Amazon when my wife, while searching, saw the alarming report on the internet that recent orders of Morning Glory Polyester Fiberfil have produced boxes of gray dusty fiberfill that feels terrible to the touch. She stopped me immediately from completing the order for fear of getting several boxes of stuffing she wouldn't be able to use.At that point we looked further into it on line. At first, we were alarmed by reports that you can't find a phone number to get hold of the manufacturer to discuss anything. And calls to various WalMart, JoAnn and Hobby Lobby outlets were uninformative. So we decided to try to find the manufacturer. There is no google result for a search for "Morning Glory" that is useful. And while there is no phone number on the Fiberfil package, there is, in tiny print on the Polyfil bag, the note: Manufactured by Carpenter Co., Taylor TX. That allowed me to find a phone number from a google search: 512/365-5833. A very helpful lady there said that the gray stuff was a bad batch and any current orders should be back to the snow white product that is intended. Also, she gave me the phone number of the person who is in charge this product and who could speak authoritatively about what's happening with its manufacture as well as progress with getting it back into Walmarts. This person is Jane Smith at 479/621-8904. Ms. Smith was also very knowledgeable and helpful, reiterating that there should be no problem with product ordered from Amazon today. She also said she expects the Fiberfil to be once again available in WalMarts after the first of 2012.So I've placed our order and will await delivery with some level of confidence that it will be fine.I hope this current information is of use to Amazon shoppers.

Good for various crafts and projects, not the most high quality
Purchased this for a couple different crafts and projects I was working on - I wish it was a little softer but it does get the job done!

Great stuffing! Lousy price!
How could Walmart have sold this stuffing for $8-$9/box and Amazon is asking $16.99? Sure, I know Walmart buys stuff by the truckload, but STILL ...I *just* got off the phone with Marshall Dry Goods. I've never ordered from them before but thought I'd check their price. They are now charging $11.21 per box for this stuffing. Shipping to Northern California is $9.84/box for 1 box, or $6.54/box if I were to order a minimum of 4 boxes. So the total price per box for me would be $17.75. Looks like Amazon may be getting some business from me ...I will post a review on the other item as well, but PLEASE be wary of the item shown as Simplicity brand stuffing. Authentic Simplicity stuffing is awesome! The crap I ordered via Amazon (actually a 3rd party seller which seemed to be using a drop ship company, so maybe that's 4th party?) is dense, flecked with blue colors, and it sheds little fibers all over the place! Some people have reported being allergic to the shedding fibers, or getting a severe rash from them, however that hasn't been my experience. The worst part for me is this stuff has s horrible smell! It doesn't seem to be noticeable after I do my primitive finish on an item (coffee, vanilla, paint, whatever), but the smell while I'm stuffing is something else altogether! The GOOD news is that this stuffing claims to be 100% recycled! I would like to know what it's recycled from (pop bottles? tires? plastic grocery bags? who knows!). I did contact this seller the day I received the stuffing and told them what I thought. I asked for, and received, a 25% refund. I'm waiting for my next credit card statement to arrive so I can be sure the refund was actually processed, but I've received a couple emails indicating that it was.Sure wish Joann's included stuffing in their semi-annual batting sales like they used to! I always bought 2 or 3 boxes (at least!) of the REAL "polyfil" brand stuffing when they had their sales.
