High quality from Vallejo!
Been using Vallejo paints for a few years, very high quality acrylics for model making. This matte finish is a high quality finish that leaves a matte finish and protects. I've used it on chromed parts, especially hub caps and wheels, to replicate aluminum parts and it works quite well. Applies easily, can be brushed or sprayed with air brush. i use distilled water to thin. Hardens to a good finish for acrylic surfaces, and easy to clean up with water!

Great result for my action figures
I was looking for a clear acrylic that I could easily brush on. This works great on my action figure customs. REcommended.

Vallejo Acrylic Varnish (Matte)
Very easy to use. I diluted the varnish with Vallejo Thinner (50:50). Sprays easily and leaves an even, matte, and clear coat.

It looks fine, applying fine but it's not matte! I was really upset because I needed matte. It glossy - satin. I would not recommend
