No. Don't try to apply it on fret. It's okay if you got a little ammount applied while cleaning your strings. But it's not good for fretboard. Go for lemon oil for that. You'll find it from Dunlop or Planet Waves too.

Is it good for removing rust?

I have used it only twice.... it does remove a Layer of Rust ... You can see the stains on the Foam

It can use for rosewood fret board?

It is useful for string cleaning not for fretboard cleaning.
