Purchase without hesitation and enjoy!
I rarely write reviews but was blown away by the quality and sturdiness of this grill for the price. Perfect application for my stone firepit. Purchase without hesitation and enjoy!

Spend your money on a better grill
Pulled it out of the box and it was oiled cleaned it off and sprayed it before use while camping we didn’t even put anything heavy on it but the middle is drooping after one weekend camping trip and it’s rusted. It didn’t rain and wasn’t left out anywhere other than the camping trip when my brother in-law leaned it against a nearby tree when not in use. The metal couldn’t hold up to the heat and it’s rusted so pretty worthless to me now after one use

Perfect for state camp ground fire pits!
I bought this primarily to go over the fire pit at state campgrounds since they're always so large. Finding a circular grate at 34" or so is not cheap. I just finished using this for our last camping trip of the season and I'm really impressed. We tossed it over the fire pit and it fit perfectly with no overhang. Primarily we used the legs, but a few times we also retracted the legs and just plopped it right on top of the fire pit as well. I cooked some peppers and onions directly on the grate as well as items wrapped in tin foil (reheated). We also used it as a stove top for our cast iron skillets. We had two 12 inch cast iron skillets sitting on either side and it held up really well. I did notice a bit of a dip that formed after a few days, but it still seems pretty solid, and a friend who has a similar grate (but one that attaches to a pole) said that it's pretty normal for that to happen.Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this grill.

Fire Pit Cooking Necessity!
This fire grill is great. The size of the grill really allows the outdoor cook to prepare a variety of items as one time. We had our beans on the side while our hot dogs and burgers cooked in the center. We were able to get the fire hot and place the grill on four bricks to allow for the heat we needed. We removed the bricks later in the meal and foil wrapped ice cream cones filled with marshmallows, chocolate and bananas for our dessert. Clean up was a breeze with a wipe down. We did put a spray of cooking oil on the surface before storing. We will be using it all summer and you should too!!!

Super well made product!
Highly recommend!Easy to use and super nice looking on the fire pit! We did not get to the point to clean the grill because we used foil paper on top while grilling. The grill is very easy to storage and not so heavy. Overall it was a great buy!

Great for large groups, overkill for small ones
Bought this two season ago and have used it many times. This is great for a large group but overkill for small group cooking. I thought I would be taking this camping but ended up using it at home in our outdoor fire pit. It was larger than I had anticipated so it works great when I have groups over for BBQ. I can cook 30 hot dogs at a time, 10-15 steaks, 25 pieces of chicken and more....you get the idea. It's not easy to clean but not difficult either. It needs to be oiled regularly or it will rust and cleaned well every use or it can develop mold but if you camp enough you already know that.......

Great grate - be warned of possible warping.
Used this for 15 days of cooking over the fire while camping.All-in-all it's worked out well and is plenty large. I didn't have any issues with food sticking. The leg bolts did need tightened to keep them from closing easily. Also, because I was cooking every day multiple times a day the unit has warped which is why I dinged a star. If it was made out of a bit thicker metal or had better support this probably wouldn't be an issue. I'll probably weld on a little stiffer support pieces to take the warp out. But all in all it was still usable even with the warp and there is plenty of space for 2 14" skillets with left over for whatever you might need.

Sturdy enough for a lobster pot
We built a round fire pit in our yard, mostly for keeping warm on cool nights but also for cooking. After spending a vacation in Maine, we discovered that there are fewer things better than cooking boiled lobster over an open fire. If we wanted to recreate that experience, that meant we needed more than a simple grill that could support hamburgers and other lightweight items - we needed something that could support a pot with gallons of water and 3 or 4 lobsters.Everything I had found up until this purchase cost hundreds of dollars so when I found this grill, I was quite excited. It's designed to stand on it's own over a campfire using the foldable legs, but we lay it down across the stone fire pit with the legs closed - they add a bit of extra strength while in that position. It easily holds a lobster pot and helps us relive our Maine vacation whenever we want.

Large grill
Haven't used it yet,but very well made. Bigger than I expected but it will work well for my needs. Plenty of room for cookware or just for roasting food directly.

Cool idea for a firepit but lacked some quality
This item rusted after the first use and warped quite quickly after first use . Needed to be made of thicker gauge of fencing for surface .
