The Children's Bible in 365 Stories: A story for every day of the year

Even though it's a Children's Bible, I love to go through it ,myself every now and then. The stories are very maturely told and the illustrations are a rare treat to the eye! I believe that illustrations help in arresting the attention of the child and in keeping them engrossed in reading and wanting to move through the pages over and again.5 stars to the publisher, story writer and illustrator...This book deserves the pride of place in your study/library or prayer room. Every Christian child needs a book like this to introduce him to the bible convincingly. As a parent, I'm very very happy with the contents and quality of the book.

Verrrrrrrrrrrry fast delivery!!!!! Came 1 week before the estimated delivery date!About the book, Mary batchelor's children's Bible was my first Bible when I was a kid! It's a very well written, most eloquent book covering almost the entire Bible, suitable for kids from 3rd grade to 7th grade.. with beautiful pictures. the original book had high quality, thick glossy papers. I wanted to get one for my kid..However this book on amazon.in is copy of that original book. The pages aren't glossy. That was a bit of a let down! But again that's what you will get for 450bucks! I was willing to pay even extra for that original book, but couldn't find it!

Good for kids who love to read. Pictures are there to prevent boredom if text only. Story not fully depicted in pictures. Note that the edition is 10 year old, but since bible story did not change over time it doesn't matter. Book was new, provided from Bible society of India, Bangalore.

Perfect book to introduce kids of how it all began.The fact that these true stories are made short and well written support by some awesome pictures makes it a joy for the little ones to read them each day.😇

Bought it for my friends kid.ProsA good Bible with easy English.The price is great.Hardcover and good built and paper qualityCon-It has a good amount of pictures and illustration...but maybe a little more pictures could have helped as we are focusing on kids..but this is my personal opinion :)

Not really a children's product. There's just one illustration and that too is not illustrative. The Jonah and Whale story has no illustration of the whale. I would not recommend it specifically keeping in min the presentation done.

Great resource to have to read out to your children just before they hit bed. Easy to ready and covers all of the key events of the new testament.

This was Good but my general expectation was it will not have regular papers inside, some strong not easily damageable paper is eexpected. At the same time less pictures ..

I bought this for my 7 year old nephew and was so impressed with it that I bought one for myself! Sometimes it’s surprisingly refreshing to just sit down with the Bible and read it from beginning to end and because I never had such a nice Bible as a child, perhaps I’m making up for lost years!Reading the Bible from cover to cover is normally a mammoth task but is made entirely possible by a clever retelling of events. The story of God’s character, holiness and love, shine through on every page and it’s condensed storytelling at its best.This Bible captures all the well known (and many lesser known) stories and weaves them into one continuous account of God’s unfolding plan of salvation for mankind and beyond. The simple narration misses nothing out of the lovely spiritual depth and meaning and it does this better than most story bibles I’ve encountered. The colourful realistic illustrations on every page are a real bonus and help bring it all alive. The language may be more suitable for the slightly older child, probably from ages 7-12 as there are some long words that will need explaining. However, I personally like the fact that it doesn’t dumb the kids down.A beautiful book then, and a real classic that would make a lovely family heirloom; all at a very reasonable price.The only downside..? I was surprised at the lack of presentation page for giving as a gift. It would have been nice to have inscribed the name of my nephew at the front, which would have given the more personal touch. That’s a minor gripe though and the only ‘fault’ I could find.

My granddaughter loves this bible. She became interested in Judaism and Christianity during Lockdown as her school set information about Noah and Moses for RE. My daughter says my granddaughter makes a beeline for this book when she comes in from school and reads page after page. She is almost 7, with a reading age of 11.

Purchased for my sister we had a copy as kids in our home.The book is better then she remembered and even though she reads a KJV Bible she still enjoys to read this version to (So not just for children lol)Would make a great gift for a child.

Beautifull scriptures written especially for children to read and to get to know jesus and God. And all about the Christian ways and how they lived. Beautifully written x 🌟💫💗🍃🌟

We think this beautiful Bible book has really helped our daughter to understand more of the stories of Jesus & his followers to opened her heart to Our lord above ( hard back copy )
