After I received a neck injury, I developed a little bit of an animosity toward glassware. Sometimes I lose a bit of sensation and drop things. This is problematic in more than the most obvious ways, because you end up shopping for either all metal cups (think milkshake cups) or sippy cups (like kids use). Neither of these are desirable because the most hoped for aspect to any unfortunate event is trying to minimize how often you have to remember it.These are attractive, VERY durable (I threw one across the room after it came out of the box. Didn't leave a mark) and stable enough that if you push the top of the cup, it tends to slide rather than tip. It doesn't solve any problems related to me dropping things, but it does make it less of a dramatic event and I get to have beverage containers that look like the kind normal people use. This is a review for Govino Wine Glasses (Flexible Shatterproof Recyclable). When you have tile floors, a swimming pool, and mischievous fur babies (aka: cats), you want a wine glass that can hold up against all the obstacles. I came across these shatterproof “glasses” by Govino. These are perfect! We use these around the pool. These are also great to travel with. We have taken these along with us several times on road trips. (Who wants to use paper/Styrofoam cups that the hotels supply, when you can use stemless wine glasses!) They have a thumb notch so these fit perfectly in your hands. They hold 16 ounces which is a great size for wine! These are made of plastic, so you will want to avoid the dishwasher and wash these by hand. These are also BPA free! I have also purchased a set of these as a gift and they went over extremely well! Would recommend these as either a Christmas or Host/Hostess gift! Don’t forget these for your next backyard Bar-b-que! You will receive appreciation and compliments on these! (And no broken wine glasses! A win-win!)

These are by far the best choice for wine on the go, picnic, concerts, etc.However, I would not agree that they are dishwasher safe. Best to hand wash.

I saw these advertised in a magazine and thought I'd give them a try. They'd be great to take to the pool. The glass looks great. The thumb notch is very comfortable and ingenious. My only complaint about the product is the plastic is very thin. That's good for the environment, but I was expecting more heft and rigidity. The seam from the mold is visible at the bottom of the glass, somewhat ruining the illusion that it's crystal. I was expecting something a little more elegant.Another issue is the price. They are washable and reusable, so the roughly $13.00 for four isn't totally outrageous. However, I have bought cheap stemmed wine glasses (real glass) for $1.00 a piece for a wine tasting party my wife and I hosted. $4.00 a piece is a bit much for the quality level of these glasses. I'm not sure I'd recommend them at this price.Update- I've had these glasses for six months and they have held up surprisingly well. I used them quite often and they look just like brand new. No stains, no scratches. I'm giving them one more star and removing my reservation about the price. They are worth it.

I used to return products without reviewing them but I don't want my reviews to be just about items I like or I kept and didn't like, I want there to be a full range so I give all the items I buy and keep or don't keep a fair review.That said, I wanted to like these glasses but I was naive, why was I expecting anything other than plastic? Shatter proof? Duh Kat, that must mean not glass. But I love glass! I hate plastic, even if it's that good plastic (which these are BPA free right?) and they're recyclable.Great right? Wrong. I'll tell you why. It's NOT that these wine glasses (er plastics) are not good, they ARE but not for what I wanted which was using regularly at home and or entertaining guests.These are perfect for picnics and or people that don't mind spending $12 a pop for 4 glasses instead of buying those rinky dinky plastic cups at $5 for a 20 pack of.What I DO like is the packaging and they ARE cute...but I just don't like the plastic or how kind of flimsy they seem. I returned them yesterday, I rarely wait more than a few days to return an item if I don't like it.I would say the bottom line is this, if you want some CUTE plastic wine cups and are willing to pay more for them and yes, you can reuse them, then, go for it.

This was my 3rd purchase of these so that alone says how much I like them! I originally purchased them because they were recommended to me by a teacher of a wine class I took. They are perfect for any place that does not allow glass but you want to enjoy your wine or for any clumsy guests you have. Other plastic wine glasses I have purchased were made of thick, hard plastic. This does not allow for the correct delivery of the wine to your palette. These are not Riedels but for what they were designed for they are perfect! The plastic is nice and thin. It is flexible so I don’t have to worry about the plastic cracking like harder plastics. The thumb notch is a nice touch and helps them from slipping.I have bought 2 sets for myself and 1 set as a gift. My first set was bought 2 years ago – I’ve used them extensively and they are holding up great!WARNING: They are NOT dishwasher safe. I don’t have a dishwasher so I don’t see this as a downside, but I know others might.

1. Man bekommt nicht was gezeigt wird. Es wird die aktuelle Verpackung gezeigt, ich bekam aber eine alte Version. Meines Wissens hat aber der Hersteller mit der aktuellen Version auf einen hochwertigeren Kunststoff umgestellt, der Unterschied ist also nicht nur die Verpackung.2. Sehr dünner, weicher Kunststoff. Tatsächlich sehr leicht und vom Design auch ansprechend, vom Gefühl aber eher wie Einwegplastikbecher, da sie nicht starr sondern sehr biegsam sind. Selbst die Pfandbierbecher aus Kunststoff fühlen sich besser an. Unzerbrechlichkeit habe ich nicht überprüft, da ich sie zurückgeben will. Wahrscheinlich sind sie es auch beim runterfallen, aber mit genug Kraft werden die auch hinüber sein, da einfach die Materialdicke sehr gering ist. 5€ pro Glas finde ich dann bei dem bisschen Material und dem Look and Feel einfach nicht gerechtfertigt. Dann lieber die Superglas Gläser, die sind etwas schwerer, fühlen sich aber mehr an wie ein richtiges Glas, auch wenn es Kunststoff ist.

No pesan mucho con lo que son bastante inestables si estás al aire libre. Parecen un poco de usar y tirar. No era lo que buscaba.

great glasses - have already ordered two more sets. Nice looking and very light - an extra bonus for anyone with issue like arthritis, that may make holding a glass uncomfortable..
