Bought this game for my 5 year old grandchild. She’d never played Candyland before. She loves this game. She’s played it nearly every day since Christmas. I read the reviews on which Candyland to purchase. I purchased the classic version as it has just the right amount of graphics. Several users stated some of the newer versions had way too many graphics. The board became very cluttered making it hard to see the squares where the token should follow as the game progresses. This classic model is not cluttered and is easy to follow.

The classic Candyland board game. Perfect for 4-6 year olds. Simple directions/game to follow and kids really enjoy playing it. Great birthday gift!

Great. Nice quality and liked the vintage style

The original Candy Land board scene is supremely better than the later version board. Plus, original is a longer path! Later version removed cherished sweet stops-cards (Hearts, Gum Drops, Gingerbread tree man. And the molasses swamp area) . Later version scene also a bit dark-scary. Get the fun original!

Thank goodness this product exists. I was so annoyed at all the modern Candy Land games with horrible graphics and poor quality. This board is sturdy, the pieces are well made and the graphics remind me of the original game which I grew up with. Don't buy anything else!

Bought this Retro style game for my 4 year old granddaughter. She loved it! Nice, simple graphics, unlike the crazy new version. Plastic gingerbread playing pieces. We will see how long it holds up...

Sweet and Simple.I was born in 1982 and I grew up playing, Candyland; Be the First to Find the Candy Castle version. My favorite version of course. But sadly the price for it is out of my range.I have a 3 year old son, who recognizes colors and can count well. He is really starting to get into board games. I want him to experience some of the classics. I really hate the newer versions, that are way over stimulating with ridiculous graphics and more than likely, cheaply made. The new versions today are sad.Even tho Candy Land 65th Anniversary is technically, new. It is made like the old versions. Cute and simple, with fun pictures and an easy board to follow. My 3 year old absolutely loves it. It is a very nicely made board, with a classic feel. Thank you!

The great grands loved these puzzles. Very age appropriate. Great value for the little I paid.
