It showed no sign of growth in thinning areas
It did t make a difference in my hair I didn't see any growth in problem areas however my hair did grow longer but I was also doing a lot of other natural remedies like rice water and essential oils, so I can't really credit length here to this, I needed hair to grow back in places that were thinning, so none showed improvement

Very pleasant smell, much less hair fall and IT REALLY WORKS!!
I loved the way that it made my scalp feel after washing my hair. The smell was very pleasant. I’ve noticed that I have much less hair fall, which makes me very happy. This is my second bottle and I will continue to purchase Hairessence, because IT WORKS!

An Expensive Shampoo but Worth It!
This powerful shampoo comes in a little bottle but it is well worth the money! Every product I've used from this company has proven results. I've never had so much new hair growth and it's growing 1" a month. It's unbelievable!!

Awful
Don't believe what they say about this. Does nothing but leave hair oily and flat.

Lightens hair & causes tangles
I have no problem with getting my hair long, but I would like it to be a little bit thicker sometimes, especially since it thins out towards the end. This is reasonably priced, so I thought I'd try it - but my ultimate conclusion is it's definitely not something I could use all the time, though I would use it occasionally. So far, I've been using it every other day for a little over two weeks, and I've found that the best way to use it is to apply it ONLY to my scalp / the top inch or two of my hair, and to use a REALLY good conditioner after this shampoo. This is because it causes my hair to tangle really bad, to the point where it looks like I drove down the freeway with my hair down and the windows all completely open...The first time I used this, I applied it mainly to my scalp AFTER I used conditioner, but I used a little bit extra so I could put some of the suds on the rest of my hair, which is slightly over 4 feet long - this resulted in horrible tangles even though I left it straight down to dry while I basically just sat on my couch. The second time I used it, I again applied it mainly to my scalp AFTER using conditioner, but this time I didn't put any on the rest of my hair, so the bottom 4 feet only got a little bit of contact as I rinsed it out - again, horrible tangles when it dried, even though I just let it dry straight down around my house. After this, I decided to apply it only to my scalp BEFORE using conditioner, so again it only rinsed through the bottom 4 feet of my hair - this worked out better, and only resulted in mild tangles, so at least for me, this is the only way to go with this shampoo... Even doing this, the conditioner I use makes a huge difference. The best results I got have been with the most expensive, most moisturizing conditioner I've probably ever owned. With this, I still get a lot more tangles than I normally do, but not too terrible, mostly only in one or two spots. I have used other hair growth shampoos here and there before, and have never experienced tangles to this extent before. I also have never had a shampoo like this lighten my hair before, but this one has DEFINITELY done that. It's doing it in a way that it looks natural so I don't mind too much and would actually consider using this shampoo occasionally for this property, but it is also for sure something to note before buying. While it's too early to say for sure whether this shampoo is helping with hair growth, I think that unless I use it the specific way that I said, I'll definitely be losing more hair than this shampoo would help me grow, because of the tangles. Normally, I only brush my hair about once a week and have minimal tangles, so having a rat's nest to brush out 3-4 times a week is a no-go for me. But, with a really good conditioner, I'd still use this sometimes. Perhaps shorter hair wouldn't have this same tangle problem. As a final note, I do really like the peppermint smell to it, though I think it's interesting that I haven't felt any tingling at all with this shampoo, where I normally do with peppermint / caffeinated products.

Have to wash twice.
The directions say to use 5X a week for optimal results. I won’t be getting that, because I only shampoo 2X a week. Otherwise I lose too much hair. They say it is improving my hair from the very first use. I didn’t find I lost less hair. I’m still losing hair regularly. They say it will revitalize and promote thicker fuller hair. I haven’t found this so.I have been using this shampoo for awhile and I’m having trouble getting any lather up. I need to wash a second time to get a lather shampoo wash.I don’t lose so much hair from the wash itself, but after conditioning and combing through, I am still losing hair. It’s not preventing it.I’m trying to determine what the smell is. It’s different, it may be medicinal. I looked at the ingredients. What gives it the caffeine?I can’t say for sure it does anything special. If you have to wash twice, that’s not so good. You’re just using twice the product for one wash.-- I write reviews because I like to read reviews before I buy/ or not buy. I am not interested in what the seller has already told me about the item, I want to know what the buyer thought was especially good, or not good. I put a great value on other people's opinions. I hope the information that I've provided makes your decision, to buy or not buy, a little easier.
