Nice mold. Haven't used yet but made well and not cheap.

This mold is really great! I poured 4 stones yesterday and was very impressed with the size and quality! I am a beginner at painting rocks and so i like that these are not too big and not too small. The rocks are so smooth they are almost shiny!I would recommend this product, and would purchase this product again if needed.Because the mold is silicone, it is unstable when filled with plaster ir cement; to move the mold while the cement is drying It’s best to place a cookie sheet under this mold so it doesn’t tip or spill.

There are sturdier silicone molds available but for the price these aren’t bad. I used them to make rocks for an elementary school summer art camp.For my more professional dot painted mandalas, the fact that there isn’t a support to keep the underside or the mold from touching the surface of the counter, is disappointing, especially on the pink oval shaped mold. The round molds having a flat top is fine.Not bad and easy to use. The flat top and wonky edges aren’t real breakers depending on what I want to use the rocks for.

I was very skeptical when I first received the mold. It just did not seem like this silicone mold would work with quick dry hydraulic cement. I put it to the test and it shocked me how well my Stones turned out. I have already started painting them and getting ready to put some dots on them. I was so pleased that I bought one of the larger size ones. Can't wait to get it.

Great little mold to make rocks to paint. The "rocks" popped out easily without flaws. I used 2 cups Ultra Cal 40 gypsum cement purchased from Amazon and about 2/3 cup tap water. Easy to clean too. They're a nice small size that fits in the palm of my hand. I recommend this mold

The media could not be loaded. These are good starter molds. I’ve been using these with Rapid Set Cement All for painting rocks. They come out very smooth.The round one ends up flat on the bottom so they are shaped more like a hockey puck not a round dome. The edges end up wonky and not perfectly round either (see the video).The oval one turns out nice and while it is flat on the top also it’s not so noticeable. There are 6 molds not 5 like the picture. The oval mold is also very thin so it is already tearing a teeny bit after using 5 times.The pluses are the price, the concrete comes out super easy and they worked for me as a new “rock maker”. I did upgrade to some better molds but I’m still using these, especially the oval.

Very easy to use and remove dried cement from the mold. Makes beautiful painting rocks. A bit thicker than your usual skipping stone, but still easily held in the palm of your hand.
