Great for my favorite Tabbouleh Recipe
Bought this to make my favorite, healthy Lebanese Tabbouleh Recipe:1. stir 1/2 cup fine bulgur + 1 Tbsp olive oil in a heatproof bowl.2. pour 1 cup boiling water over; cover bowl tightly with plastic wrap for 15 mins.3. mix with sauce consisting of:* 2 Tbsps olive oil* 3 Tbsps fresh lemon juice* 3/4 Tsp salt* 1/4 Tsp black pepper* 1/4 Tsp cumin4. toss with:* 2 cups finely chopped parsley (from 2 bunches)* 1/2 cup finely chopped mint (1 bunch +/-)* 2 med tomatoes cut in small pieces* 1 cucumber (peeled, cored and cut in small pieces)serve with Pita BreadWarning: none will be left over; it's that good !!!And if you're having problems with constipation, drink at least 2-qts of water/day (as my Doctor once told me: "you have to float the boat."), plus a healthy amount of this dish and your problems will disappear.

As fine bulgar goes
As fine bulgar goes, this is absolutely superb. I used it for kibbeh and to create a salad with wheat germ. The product is uniformly fine grain, and it is all you could ask in terms of high quality. However, one of the two bags I ordered came with a break in the plastic wrap, which I assume is an Amazon problem and not something that occurred in the original packaging process since there was very little bulgar missing from the clear plastic bag. If the slit occurred in original packaging, I am guessing far more would have been lost.

Product Food Quality within Expiration Period
I am familiar with, and have used the REIS bulghur wheat brand for preparing mixed salads. The seller was helpful to describe the different grains used for a variety of recipes. And, as well, an expiration date of 07/2022. The bulghur was fresh and tasty, and will store well in glass jars, and or, in the fridge.

Pricey
I don't live in a large city where ethnic foods are readily available. I like to cook a lot of Middle Eastern foods, so I needed the fine bulghul (cracked wheat). Everything on line was ridiculously expensive. This brand was the best value. In larger-city markets. a one-pound bag is about $2.00. Most of the on-line items were charging nearly $15 for one (sometimes two) pound bags. Crazy!

Perfect for tabbouleh
I got this for kale tabbouleh and it is exactly what I needed. It’s the right size grain for that kind of application. Now I need to find more stuff to do with it since I’m not eating tabbouleh every day lol

Perfect for tabouli!
This was my first time making homemade tabouli, and I followed the instructions to buy very fine bulgur. This stuff was perfect, and the tabouli was wonderful. Hardest part was just chopping all that parsley. Who knew it was so easy???
