This is a great adapter for phones and tablets, anything with a transformer that works with 240 volt electricity. In addition to its three North American style outlets, it has two USB A type receptacles, providing up to five connections for charging electronics. My wife and I used one on a recent trip to NZ and it satisfied all our charging needs. Keep in mind that it does not convert 240 volts to 120 volts, so anything you want to plug into it must work with the higher voltage, but most adapters supplied with phones/tablets work with 120 to 240 volts. Other appliances, like curling irons and hair dryers, may or may not have the necessary converter built into the appliance, so check carefully before plugging into this adapter. We pack light, with only carry on bags, so I found this adapter to be a bit large, but it’s as small as it can be, and it fit snugly into my backpack in its original box (to protect its non-pivoting plug and other items it might jab while packed). If you are going to NZ or Australia (or a few other places), this is the adapter for you.

My mistake. I assumed Europe included working in London UK. Will return when I get back to the States. Seems to be well made and I like all of the outlet and USB options.

Reviews were mixed. Took a chance. Worked great for me. Price definitely right. Around $5 each. I bought 2 because some reviews said it fell apart quickly.
