A great mouse for big hands with some quirks
So let me start this off by saying I am either extremely lucky or people are overly aggressive with their mice, as my experience does not tally up with the majority here, but there are a few things to be aware of.As far as build quality goes, I have had absolutely no issues with my mouse. The mounting of the scroll wheel is intact and I use it daily. Those that have had issues with the scroll wheel - I wonder if they are using it as a middle click. Looking at the mechanism I’d say there is some fragility there, but controlled presses haven’t presented an issue and for scrolling it is smooth, no grinds.Mouse is large (the USP for my purchase) as not many mice cater for my hand size. It’s ergonomic and comfortable in both wrap around and claw hybrid hand positions. Now, the quirky stuff. You need iCue to take full advantage of this mouse. If it isn’t installed then you will not have full functionality - if it isn’t running you lose some functionality such as DPI profiles and lighting.Corsair also released a firmware with an issue for this mouse, so do not update as you will have desynchronise issues. This can be reversed by installing an older version of iCue if you have inadvertently updated and are now experiencing issues.Battery life is OK. It’s not superb but it isn’t awful either.Overall, very satisfied with my Ironclaw. I’ve had more broken Logitech mice than I have for Corsair, but each persons experience will differ.

Best mouse I have used.
This is hands down, the best mouse I have used. Its SO good to be free of wires and not get all tangled up. Ugh.The wireless standard that Corsair use with their wireless mice is super fast. I think its one of the fastest on the market if not THE fastest. Slip Stream i think its called, super fast, lag and latency free. The little slip stream dongle is super tiny so its easy to hide it away either on the back of your computer or like me, in my corsair mousepad. the range is pretty damn big, I can stand in my bathroom and still wiggle the mouse around on the screen. Some 12 feet away!! Though...why you would be THAT far away is a mystery to me.As usual with Corsair you need IQue in order to change the way the mouse works. You can change the polling rate, mouse sensitivity, you can even reprogramme the buttons. And of course, you can use IQue to control the lighting. The canned effects are, kinda lame and limited. But with a bit of time you can create pretty much ANY effect that you want to.Battery life IS affected by lighting, cos duh. But, personally, I only have the logo lit up. Cos the others you cant really see the others as they are at the front of the mouse. Whereas the logo is on the back where you put your hand.A full charge can actually last a couple of days if you only use the logo lit up. Once it gets to medium battery though, that will only last about a day or so.One thing that really cheeses me off, is the fact that there is NO way of getting the battery level to display on the mouse itself using the lights. Which really sucks. So, the only way of seeing how much charge you have, is to use the little battery level thingie on your taskbar on the far right. High, Medium, or Low. No percentage, which, is annoying but not that important.Overall its a VERY damn good mouse, and I would take this over any wired mouse any day of the week.

Almost perfect
I bought this mouse as a replacement for the Corsair M65 Elite as it was just too small for my hand and made it uncomfortable. This mouse is not just of use for people with large hands as my young son also uses this mouse in preference over the M65 Elite. It is a comfortable no frills and spills mouse and does it's job perfectly. The only one problem I have found with this mouse is the middle wheel. It works perfectly but after a period of time it breaks and from reviews I have read I am not an isolated issue. I put this down to poor design and would like to see Corsair upgrade the wheel to make this a perfect 5 star. The wheel has a tiny spindle on it which fits inside the switch. This spindle is made of plastic which obviously weakens over time with multiple presses and eventually breaks. I was offered a full refund or replacement for which I took another replacement as I do like this mouse.I am trying to be fair with the provided software as I am not a great lover of any RGB controller software. I am not really interested in customizing RGB and I just use the hardware provided profile as I don't see the point in causing unnecessary CPU overheads with any RGB controller software. The software is very straightforward to use and if you are in to it then this will be for you. The hardware profile gives you an rainbow RGB effect which is good for me. It also provides 1 pre-set for the buttons which has the buttons working as they would on a normal mouse. It also provides 3 speed settings. The one thing I love about this mouse and makes the software useful is that the mouse has 3 hardware pre-sets with 2 of them empty by default. You could tailor these 3 hardware pre-sets using the software then close the software as it is not required for hardware pre-sets.
