Great product
I make a list of meds that me and my spouse are currently taking. Seal it in one of these pouches and keep it in our wallets for when a medical practioner asks what meds we are currently taking. The older we get, the harder it is to remember the names and dosages. This simplifies it for us.

Easy to use
I love using these for those heavy paper type cards that easily become bent or torn in my wallet. They are easy to use and turn out almost as durable as a credit card.

Useful
I work as a church administrator and part of my job is supplies. These self-sealing luggage tags are great and easy to use. Our main uses are for marking names on choir robe and acolyte robe hangers, and for making back-to-school tags for our annual Blessing of the Backpacks! They go well with printable business cards, it's the perfect size to fit. So for your own luggage it's also an inexpensive option that you can remake as needed. The can also hang on lanyard clips (the snap kind).

They are easy to use and can work, Be advised
Over all I am happy with my Scotch LS851G Self-Sealing Laminating Pouches, 9.5 mil, 2 7/16 x 3 7/8, Business Card Size (Pack of 25). It is a decent design and once you get the first one right, they are easy to use. There are some things to consider and the design could be better. The most obvious thing, more obvious once you handle them is that they will increase the thickness of your cards. If you only have a few cards to protect, this may not be important. What is less obvious is that the size of the pouch is longer and wider than the typical business card, or Social Security card. This means that they may not fit in many card carry wallets. This brings us to the potential failure point.Part of what makes these pouches easy to handle is that only one side of the pouch is sealed. You press one edge of the card into the seam where the top and bottom are pre-sealed together. Make sure your card is in straight. So far so good. The peal the backing off the more flexible part and let the two parts stick together. So far so good and so easy. The problem is that only one side of the pouch is sticky. That part will protect one side of your card. If the new total larger size of your card is not a problem you are good.If you have to trim the laminate to make sure you can carry the card -a problem. Over trim your cards and the bottom part is no longer sticking to anything. One face of your card remains protected, but potentially you have an unprotected other side. The card is still thicker but the bottom part can flop about. What is more likely is that you will have trimmed so much of the protective plastic that the edges of your card are partially exposed. Your ‘protected’ card can become water soaked or other-wise damaged.

Great Product for Saving Important Cards!
I recommend these Scotch LS851G Self-Sealing Laminating Pouches - Business Card size, for any small cards that may need to be kept and protected from wear and tear. While the user may find that the pouch is a bit larger than necessary for any given application, the plastic is easily trimmed with a good pair of scissors. I have made photo copies of my auto insurance cards and put a laminated one in my wallet, as well as one in the glove box of my vehicle. I have also made and laminated copies of my health insurance cards so that in case of an emergency, and I'm unable to get to them, my significant other will have a copy of my cards. It just make sense for me to have these important identification cards handy when they are needed. Using this simple-to-use product is a good way to make sure I that happens.
