HRB6S 6000mAh Lipo Battery EC5 60C 22.2V RC Lipo Battery Compatible with RC Helicopter Airplane Car Boat Truck (2packs)

I have about a dozen of these packs. I fly them 2x in series for my 12S Extreme Flight 91" planes and my 12S Flex RV-8 100". I fly XA and 3D hard 5-6 days a week. Some of my HRB batteries are years old at this point and refuse to die....

I've bought several types of HRB batteries in the past. My experience has been excellent. They "condition" well after a few charge cycles. All cells are 4.19 or 4.2 volts after a balanced charge and I get superior performance from the battery under high load (Flex Innovations RV-8).

I liked all items of my purchase and will continue to purchase.

I bought these batteries for my Avanti-S EDF jets, because I had very good luck with a previous pair of similar HRB batteries (the 50C version of the 6000 mAh 6S). I have only flown with these new 60C batteries a couple of times, but so far they performed just as well as the 50C in my application. Surprisingly enough, the 60C version is about 20gr lighter than the 50C version, which is the opposite of what I would have expected. As for the dimensions, the new ones are a bit narrower and taller, but with the same length as the 50C batteries. Time will tell, but at the moment I am pleased with these new batteries.

I use these as a 12 cell set up in both my jets, and my Large Scale Warbirds. They are a great size as in they are not too wide or too long to fit in any of my applications. I have about 20 of these HRB packs in both 6000 and 5000 ma and have well over 100 cycles on many of them. They are all still in balance and have shown no decline in performance. Take your time and break them in gently and always remember to put them away at storage voltage for best results. Next to your planes, you batteries are the next major cost in this hobby. These make it enjoyable for me.

Overall, these are good batteries. I have several HRB of 5000mA and no issues so far.Bought two sets (4 batteries). One came at 8.4V, with individual cells ranging from 0.7V to 2V. The rest were at a correct storage voltage. Did a capacity test to one of the good batteries (charge at 1C, discharge at 1C) and capacity was 6210mA.I was probably unlucky with the discharged unit. It may be charged and recover, but it looks slightly swollen and I do not want to risk a giant scale airplane (4 x 6s, 12s, 12A setup). So, I am returning it, But will definitely keep using this brand.

THESE BATTERIES EXPLODE. ITS A GREAT PRICE AND DEAL BUT THESE COME WITH A DEATH WISH. I WAS MESSING WITH MY RC CARS AND I WAS TESTING THE BATTERIES. THE BATTERY WAS IN THE CAR AND SITTING ON MY LAP WHEN IT EXPLODED. IT WAS SWOLLEN AND MELTING. I THROUGH THE BATTERY OFF MY LAP AND IN THE PROCESS IT BURNED MY HAND. MY CARPET WAS SET ON FIRE. I HAVE A WIFE KIDS AND PETS. THE BATTERY ENGULFED MY HOUSE IN SMOKE. NONE OF US COULD BREATHE NOR SEE. MY RC CAR HAS TO BE REPLACED, MY ESC, RECEIVER, BRUSHLESS MOTOR. (8th scale RC) AND MY RUG. I WAS BASICALLY SOLD A BOMB. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE BUY THIS!! $750.00 WORTH OF STUFF I HAVE TO REPLACE. DISAPPOINTED...

HRB makes a solid battery. Using them in Eflite F18 80mm EDF, The Blue Angel version and getting 5+ minutes. I'm not a throttle hog. HRBs typically carry a little more weight and size than same MAH batteries from other makers but, the quality is top notch. My other HRBs have 100+ cycled and are holding up well.
