Great for powering music equipment
I purchased these batteries at the recommendation of a fellow musician who was using them in a 12 channel battery powered mixer for their PA sound system. Our acoustic duo uses the same mixer along with Bose S1 battery powered speakers to play in a variety of outdoor venues where power was not available. We’ve played several 2-3 hour performances with the EBLs with no issues. The mixer takes two 9 volt batteries so I have all 4 charged and use 2 with 2 as a backup. The package of 4 batteries and the charger has been ideal for us. They charge up quickly and hold their charge well under the 3+ hour constant use we subject them to.They are slightly larger than regular 9 volt batteries, but I haven’t had any issues with them fitting in battery receptacles. Also, if you measure the voltage initially, you will find these batteries are slightly less than 9 volts after a full charge as compared to regular 9 volt batteries. I haven’t found that to be an issue as this has had no effect on their performance when powering our mixer. In addition, they may start out with ever so slightly less voltage, but they seem to last longer than the non rechargeable 9v batteries. Longevity is what we require most in our application. My colleague had an issue with one of his batteries, and the company quickly made things right with no questions asked. He was very impressed with their responsiveness. So with good customer service along with good performance, these batteries, and this set with 4 batteries and a charger in particular, has worked out extremely well for us.

Works well but not quite 9VDC output
These charge at the terminals and so put out a bit less than 9VDC. I used it in an electronic project where I wanted to charge it at the terminals, and I didn't need exactly 9VDC beginning voltage. Some 9VDC batteries are charging with a USB port. I believe those are closer to 9VDC beginning voltage. Check specs. EBL makes batteries with the USB port as well.I contacted EBL about specs and if these have charge/discharge management in the battery -- they do. That is what I wanted for my electronic project even though I provided a current source to be sure it couldn't charge too fast.

The charger and batteries review....after 1 year of use...
UPDATE:Raising from 2 to 5 stars:Because my review, EBL contacted me about this issue and they kindly sent me at no cost a new charger. Great EBL support!Until now, the new charger it's working very well and I hope it last more than the old one.==============================Review after 1 year of use:The charger:The charger gets very hot while charging the batteries, it does not matter if you charge one or two batteries at the same time. Now, after one year of use and no more than 20 charges, the charger died. The charger is smelling to smoke. So, I have opened it and the tiny yellow transformer inside was burn. For no more that 20 charges, I do not think that it could be a good and reliable charger, actually I really think that this charger could have start a fire in my house. The batteries:These batteries (Li-ion) last a lot more than regular Ni-MH 200ma rechargeable batteries. But the size is inconvenient on some equipments. The batteries are a little bit more bigger than standard 9v batteries. For example, I have four acoustic guitars, in two guitars they don't fit. I think that could be a lot more of electronic devices where these batteries will don't fit neither. Now I have four, like new, batteries and I don't know if I want to buy another charger or if simply discard them on a recycle can trash after use the current and last charge. I feel that a new charger will get burned again after just some uses. Meanwhile, I'm working with my old and until now (3 years) reliable Tenergy Ni-MH batteries (B003MRF9G8) that fits perfect on all my guitars. My advice:Keep away of this charger. The batteries appears to be good, but the non standard size it's an inconvenient for some electronic devices.
