Works great
My wife has been prone to motion sickness in cars and in airplanes for years. I was tired of being told to slow down when driving on winding roads, so I got the Reliefband Premier before our vacation to the Smokey Mountains. She had absolutely no nausea on five days worth of day trips through the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. None. She started on level 5 of the Reliefband settings but found that level 3 was fine. She even fell asleep in the car when we were driving through the park. I'd give it more stars for effectiveness if I could.Once she had the pads in the right spot on the underside of her wrist, the face of the Reliefband was a bit off-center towards the little finger. (Just for reference, my wife is 5'5", not overweight, and wore it on her left hand). It was only a little uncomfortable. Maybe awkward would be a better word. Just know it may not fit like a watch, if that's what you're expecting. It was definitely worth the money.

Worst Product Design....DO NOT BUY
First, let me say that I have used the Reliefband Classic (simpler model) for years & actually really like that version. BUT, if I could give the "premier" model negative stars, I would. I feel like I had $300 stolen from me for how useless this band is.There was absolutely no thought or consideration to how this band was designed for actual customer use, they just made something that looked good on paper. The biggest & glaring error is the shape of the actual band was changed with this model so that it actually doesn't lie flush with the skin as it has a strange oblong shape, which also makes it uncomfortable. Secondly, the clasp doesn't keep the band tight whatsoever, and continually loosens. There is no way to keep it fixed. So, it cannot administer the relief, because it doesn't have good contact with the skin. AND, since it slides around, it isn't making contact with the conductive jelly, which then means it's burning your skin that isn't "lubed up".Even the charging cord is terrible. And, while in concept, a usb cord sounds great...as opposed to changing a watch battery. The magnetic cord doesn't connect well to the band & just falls off constantly because the magnet is so weak. Add to that... the cord is 3 inches long so you have to precariously position it SO precisely & delicately that any movement whatsoever means it doesn't charge. Talk about ADDED disappointment when it's time to use it only to find out your finicky charging cord didn't actually charge the device. THIS IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.Lastly, when I pointed out these design flaws to customer service in suggestions for a better future design...they insulted me by sending me "how to" tips on making sure you know "how to turn it on" & "making sure it was charged" prior to use. Seeing how the issues aren't how to see if it's charged or how to actually turn it on, customer service was completely useless. I told them their suggestions had nothing to do with my feedback, and they literally said "I apologize, but those are the troubleshooting suggestions we are able to provide for most effective use".I would be better served chewing ginger prior to travel than wasting money on this sham of a product. DO NOT FALL PREY! Throw your money directly into a burning dumpster instead...it will be quicker with less nausea.

Worth the money!
I went to Universal Studios and Hollywood studios. 3/4 of the rides at Universal are motion sickness type rides. Being that I have a sensitive vestibular system and get dizzy and woozy pretty easy, I was really nervous. Plus, the last time I was on a plane I felt like I was going to toss my cookies. Not to mention my near disastrous time on the tilt-o-whirl. I made it the entire trip and didn’t feel or get sick once!! I didn’t even get the travel headache I often get. I’m not sure whether it was the band disrupting the signal to my brain to get sick, or it was the uncomfortable sensation I get from the band itself and it was working as a distraction. Either way, I didn’t get sick and it gave me the confidence to get on more & more rides. I would just push on it to give me a little extra tingle, when faced with a possible nauseating situation....like when I would start to go down a roller coaster hill. I would buy it again in a heartbeat! Oh! A little trick to help with airplane motion sickness....download a couple movies on your phone ahead of time, then watch them while in the air and make sure your ear buds are loud enough to where it is almost uncomfortable to listen to. This overwhelms your vestibular system (the thing in your ear canal which can attribute a LOT to motion sickness). I barely felt the plane move, and it was pretty turbulent & rocky on the way back. I hope this helps someone in their decision. I’m just a 38-year-old country girl, and I had the time of my life in Florida with the help of Reliefband.
