Very nice. Comes with foam bottom to add with extras. Was unsure if it would fit 1.5 inch squares but it seems to fit fine. Packaged snuggly. Is marble so the pieces may be slightly different coloring which is to be expected. Overall very satisfied.

I purchased this set with high expectations and I am not disappointed!! These are quality pieces at a very reasonable cost. I have a 16” board and these are perfect for what I need. If you have a larger than 16” board, these will work perfectly for you as well. The quality is beautiful and my husband loves them. He has these displayed on his chess board out on the kitchen table as decoration. The variation in the marble is beautiful. A great gift for a chess guy/gal in your life.

I had a custom board made for my son's birthday and needed marble chess pieces that would work with the size of the board. The board is an 18x18 and the pieces are perfect. They are heavy duty and beautiful. They look great with his new board.
