Perfect as Knipex tools often are.
I had an older version of this tool that was a 1980s USA-made Craftsman that was wearing out.I got the Craftsman replaced for free, but did not like the quality of the replacement tool so decided to pick this up.It performs as well as, if not better than my Craftsman did, and is rugged and well-designed. I have no doubt this tool will last me for decades just like the original Craftsman did.

Another Superb tool Knipex, I love these pliers!
I've been using these in the HVAC trade for four months now and I'm very pleased with them. Typically, I use these to pull wire leads off capacitors or other components during trouble shooting and preventive maintenance checks. I love the feel of the comfort gripe handles, they fit perfect in the hand, well least in mine. The bite of the pliers is exceptional, I'm confident that any terminal I grab hold of is going to release. I haven't experienced slipping, or bending of the tips. Granted I'm not using these to remove screws or loosen bolts, other tools in my bag for that purpose. The 6 1/4 size is a good size for my trade, while I will admit there are those occasional times I wish I had the larger version, but I've always managed to make these work. These really excel when it comes to wiring up thermostats, and mini split wiring, love them.If you don't have any Knipex tools in your box or bag and your wondering about the quality like I initially was...well your in for a pleasant surprise. These are truly superb tools in every respect, very impressed so far. While the rest of my coworker run Klein tools, which are really good, I have a couple of them myself, my core tools are Knipex. Again, I love the feel and fit of them, they perform, and the contrasting colors of the comfort grip handles grab your attention. Yep, these cats aren't cheap at all, but when it comes to Knipex tools, it's money very well spent. Love them!

Trustiest needle nose I have ever had
Formerly a fuel farm mechanic, and diesel mechanic, now make a living doing appliance repair work, and I have owned many pairs of needle nose pliers. We all know the cheap pliers go loose after a tough application. While, yes, they are fairly expensive but are 100% worth the price. They spread nicely (even though that is kinda unnecessary for their application, to be honest) and they certainly maintain their integrity.I have put mine through the ringer and they still grip very well; not to mention, they still meet up perfectly with no play at all in the jaws grip.I will be very sad when I finally do over-work then and break them (if this is even possible) but I will definitely not hesitate to pick up another pair of these. Prefer them over my Irwin of the same size. Go knipex!! You won't be disappointed.

Just what I needed
One of the things I loved most about these pliers was their versatility. They were able to grip and manipulate various materials, including wire, jump rings, and chains, with ease. Whether I was cutting, bending, or shaping, the pliers performed admirably and helped me achieve precise and professional results. In terms of durability, the pliers exceeded my expectations. Despite regular use, they remained sharp and sturdy, with no signs of wear or damage. The high-quality construction and materials used in the pliers made them a reliable tool that I can depend on for future projects.

Highest quality available
Very excellent! These long nose pliers are for my everyday use. The serrations are grippy, the cutter is good for soft materials, and the handles are very comfortable both to hold, and during use. I wish these state of the art tools were around when I was younger. Back then I had Craftsman tools. They got the job done, but were certainly nothing special. Now that I'm older and wiser, I've grown to appreciate the finer things in life, like Knipex tools, and other premium brands.

I wanted One Good Pair of Pliers - these are them
I've got a collection of tools, inherited and bought over my lifetime. What I was looking for was a pair of good clean comfortable well made pliers for electronics work - when I need bigger than my tweezers or micro-shears, but not my bigger side-cutters etc. These (the 6.25") are them - perfect fit in my hand, doesn't feel like I'll have to "break them in," they Just Work. They'll seldom go outside, so I can't comment on how rust-proof they are. I'll presume they'll fend off the splashes, and unless forgotten I tend to bring tools in to dry and oil when that happens.A little pricey, but highly recommended!

Details and delicate use pliers.
I use these professionally as a piano technician every day. They are not thick for high torque especially at the tips, but they are well ground, tight hinge and have a good handle material for grip.

Nothing beats a Knipex
Knipex is the best in the world at making pliers and this shows along their entire product range.
