Playing online games in 2025 off an Original PS2 Ethernet expansion Add-on. reminds me of when I would play my PS2 online games back in the good ol’ days!Works flawless, minor imperfections at best, like rusting of the metal heat shield which isn’t an issue otherwise (just showing its age is all)Took it a step further and modified the IDE and swapped it for a BitFunX SATA 3, to be ableTo run more modern HDD and SSD. I paired my mod with a 1TB Sandisk SATA 3 internal SSD and a 1.966 FMCB memory card and a FAT32 USB Flash Drive and it’s been a breeze!

Worked fine on a FAT ps2
I obtained a 'new to me' fat PS2 so that I could replay some of my old favorites. However, I wanted to be able to load the games via a NAS and McFreeBoot/addons - this adapter worked fine.

I ordered this to mod it and fit a SATA adapter in there. EZ mod btw.This worked great. Requires either a specific network setup disc to get the adapter configured. Mine did not come with the disc.Thankfully, you can use an online enabled game to do the setup. Need for Speed Underground 2 to the rescue.LAN works, HDD works with PS2. Top marks

Original IDE with internet port active.
Loved it even thought its IDE I was AZ blew to change it over to SATA WITH THE INTERNET CONNECTION! THANX FOR CHANGING THE SCREWS SO I COULD DO IT.
