A doddle to set up and use. The sleep function is actually extremely quiet and doesn't seem to cost much at all according to my smart meter.It's such a relief to be cooler without worsening my allergies.The only downside was the huge pieces of polystyrene packaging, which as they are not recyclable will be sent to landfill littering the Earth. There are quality eco alternatives so it's such a shame to see polystyrene being used still.

5 mins after unpacking and working well. Quiet and good power albeit for this price it’s not a Dyson! But a very good cheap option and good quality- wife loves it!!

For the price this is a good fan. Pretty quiet but not silent. I use it in the bedroom and the remote is useful to be able to turn it on or off without getting out of bed. It sits on the window sill OK but would take up a lot of space on a desk.

The media could not be loaded. Just put it on and I love the white noise it creates. After a few minutes the air in the room completely changed to clean and pure fresh smelling! Love it!

Looks good, remote is v useful. Quite large to find space for tho, the tilt doesn’t point v far down so works better from a lower point or from the floor rather than higher up, not hugely powerful but nice breeze, sleep mode works well v quite and just enough breeze to keep cool. Overall it’s a good fan with the filter but prob bit over priced and could get a more powerful fan for less, no blades mean less dust tho which is a bonus!

This is a great item. The cooling efficiency is excellent. It is very quiet compared to my previous tower fan. ( useful if it is to be used in a bedroom ) The higher speed settings do get noisier but it is perfectly bearable. Direction of flow is adjustable up and down and the oscillating function is a must.When switched off and on, it remembers your last speed setting.Excellent item and well designed and made.

Really disappointing for the price. Put it on highest setting and did not feel much cool air from it at all. It's relatively quiet when on highest setting and that's all I can say that is good about it. It's not black it's more of a metallic grey.I returned as didn't feel worth the money. Went to argos and got a £24 bush fan that pushes out more cool air than this one at 139.99. It's more of a glorified air purifier than a fan.Only positive was returns nice and easy.

After having a tower fan and it only lasted one season, I came across this.I seemed to be getting chest infections with my old fan as it lacked filtration, so when I saw this and read the reviews, I decided to get one - im very glad I did.The air is cool and pure. Its very quiet indeed. On the sleep setting, you can barely hear it, and there should really be no reason to set it on '9' to be honest, as lower settings are adequate enough.Great fan. I got the taller one, and a spare filter as I live in a dusty house in a rural area. Great buy.
