For Herbal Infused Oil for SALVES
Saw this from someone on YT who used this machine and loved it for medicinal SALVE making.Easy to use ... I skipped the 'decarb' function ( as my herbs were not that kind) and weighed out my 'fresh' wilted a few days (no water in it) medicinal herbs ( flower, leaves and a few stems rough cut) and measured out the oil of choice ( I used Avocado oil) and put it into the machine.* It is BEST to dry herbs fully first/dehydrate them... and then infuse in the oil.... as any water + oil is asking for trouble. There are minimum and maximum level lines on the inside wall of the machine.I wanted a bit stronger oil, so used a bit more plant material ratio to oil. ( In the directions as to the ratios)The top has the chopper end ready to get going on the herbs, and everything is pre set to go (time and temp) but you have the option to add or subtract each, too.The machine does makes noise when grinding up the plant material on and off as it goes through the cycle... and at the end there is a continuous beep.... that let's you know it is done.I had mine on the countertop and it wasn't all that hot around it. ( Like a crock pot outer base... warm, but not dangerous to touch or any need to keep super far away from other items nearby.)Strain the oil... (the included stainless basket is a very fine material that does not let any plant material through... just the oil) ....dispose of the spent herb once every drop is pressed out... and there you go!Easy to clean out the inside and grinder end with a paper towel for another batch.Ready to be made into a medicinal salves in MUCH less time than it would take using a double boiler or low crockpot and such methods.Love it. What a time saver.

Love it!
This was my first time using anything like this to make this. Smell was pretty much non-existent, but I could be nose blind. It was very quiet, not silent but an appropriate amount of noise from an appliance like this. I got my whole jar of ghee back pretty much. The presets were easy to use. I think this is definitely worth the money. Cleaning it was really simple, though requires a bit of paper towels. Or you could use a rag lol.I used the fine powder you find at the bottom of your grinder and everything went well. I'm super pleased with how everything came out. I used the butter setting obviously and it so easy and absolutely did it what was meant to do.I don't leave reviews very often but this product deserves one.

It's big very loud and smelly 90% a gimmick
After I tracked the package down, Amazon. The GoodIt’s super easy to use, one touch preset for decarb, oil, butter and tincture.Easy to make fine tuning for temp and cycle time.Dercarbing has no min amount. Not bad lookingThe BadDespite its physical size 14”x 10” it can only decarb 1oz max recommended. So, if you wanted to infuse 5 cups, the wet limit you would need to decarb in two batches. It has condensation issues so your will want really dry, dry. You have to use a vented silcone included pad for this. It’s not much less smelly if at all vs my over, during decarbing if at all.Given how weak the results were at both 220F and the default of 250F make me doubt it's reaching either temps. That was the primary reason I made the purchase.Updated after testing, only 175F after 30 minutes, it thinks it's at 253F. This thing wasted over $500 of dry in just two test.If you risk it you might want to test it first. This is very problematic IMO.InfusionsThe only value I saw here was heating and timer. The blade while noisy (think coffee grinder or denist drill) offer no value IMO in the finished product at all. Frankly I’m surprise it didn’t make it worse as it’s minces the dry. It’s too noisy to use indoors IMO. Oh in case the noise was not bad enough the funk is, again this does nothing at all to contain the odor.It will drip if you try to pour as it has no spout. In summaryIt’s a bulky decarb machine limited to about 1 oz dry. The infusion aspect is a gimmick IMO and the process is far too noisy and smelly to use indoors. That is to say I will generate far less odor doing it conventional ways and in my case at least I get less useful results.I deeply regret making this purchase, it doesn't meet any of my expectations beyond easy to use which given it's results I doubt I will use again. All I gained here was more respect for my newer home oven.

Good Product
I currently own my 2nd unit. If the user follows instructions and pay attention to the recipes, the results are excellent. Operator errors result in poor output. Do not under-fill or it slops out. It’s big. It’s a bit complex and requires periodic attention, to get good results. It provides excellent value. (I haven’t figured out any other uses for it, so no real versatility, outside of decarb or infuse.)A helpful item to include, instead of a butter mold; a Nut Milk Filtering Bag.This product is good, but could use improvements.Operator Headspace & Timing adjustments are occasionally required to maintain optimal performance.

Great machine for a great price
I love how easy it is to use this. It’s not super loud (the noise is intermittent), most the time it’s quiet. Comes with everything you need to make your extraction process easier. They have amazing recipes that come inside the box and on the website. All around happy with this product definitely worth every penny.

Easy to use
I have used this twice. It was very easy to use and the instructions were clear. I have only used it for butter so next time I may try gummies. I was able to get 2 batches from 1 process.
